“A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in……

“Very small and only useful for a single traveller! Tv did not have a controller for 90%of time we stayed, so no use! Owner had one sent over at 8pm a night before we were leaving. Good location but not what we expected!”

“The pictures make this place look much better than it is. The carpet is disgusting and coming up in several areas. The shower in the en-suite bathroom barely trickled water and never got warm. We were given 4 shower towels but had to use a couple of them as hand towels since there were none and we couldn’t receive any more towels. The en-suite bathroom also only had about a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and less than an ounce of shower gel (assuming bc the host knows the shower doesn’t work……
