“We adored our stay with Christine and Jose. In particular we loved the stunning views from the property, the beautiful outdoor spaces (bar, fire table, gorgeous pool that is heated so our kids could play in it for hours) and the location (remote in the hills with a farm, fruit trees, horses etc.). Being there felt like a truly unique experience and it felt like we got to experience real puerto rico life for a couple of days. We also went on a tour with Jose and Christine and I couldn't recommend……

“Blue Nest is a great house at on a awesome beach in Arecibo. We had everything that we needed and was in walking distance to bakery/convenience store that we became regulars at during our stay. The best part if staying here is that you are a very short distance from El Pozo del Obispo which the kids loved and is a great place for pictures. I highly recommend Blue Nest to any family and look forward to booking another family trip here soon!!!”

“Everything was great, we’ve had a great stay and enjoyed it very much. The place is great located and you will get within a couple of minutes to the beach and even beaches for kids are reachable within 7 minutes by car. If you are heady for grocery stores or backery‘s you will also reach them within a couple of minutes. If you’re heading for Puerto Rico and search a great place to stay you are perfectly accommodated in this great place.”

Christy was incredibly helpful with information on the area and was prompt to respond before and during the trip. She even helped me get a birthday cake delivered for my son! “Our group of eight, ages 7–78, had a wonderful weeklong stay. The house is spacious, with great views and multiple balconies. The kitchen appliances were all new and worked well. The outdoor space was huge, with multiple levels, patios, seating areas, and two hot tubs. All our meals were taken in the outdoor dining area with a beautiful ocean view. Food shopping was convenient. There are some really nice protected beaches 15–30 minutes away. The hosts were fantastic. They responded to any……

“La Posada Mountain retreat was an amazing, relaxing experience with epic views from the property. Our hosts Jose and Christine were amazing and very helpful in making sure we found our way there safely. A safe, quiet location and convenient parking by our unit. With picture-perfect views from the heated infinity pool, fire table, and outdoor bar area. Our unit was spacious and stocked with all the essentials. “Excellent place. Close to everything you need but feels like your away from crowds. Pool is great. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. Kitchen had everything you need to make a meal. Felt very secure. If you want to get out of San Juan and enjoy the country this is a great location.”

“Space worked well for our group of 13. Power went out and someone came right over to turn generator on. Pool area was wonderful and a big hit with the kids. A washer and dryer would have been a great addition to the home. The local bakery was great and the cow next door amused the kids. Karaoke machine was fun.”

“The place is right across from tide pools which were perfect for little kids and adults alike - 1 minute west, the beach was awesome for kiteboarding - lots of surf and great winds. The pool is awesome for all ages. There’s a couple restaurants down the road that serve awesome deep fried goodness and a wal mart 10 min away for grocery pick up. I HIGHLY recommend the Frances Marie Bakery down the road for breakfast … or lunch or all day really… pastries are good for you. If you head like 20……

“Fun family home”

“We enjoyed being close to the ocean. The view was amazing. The beach is not for swimming but provided a relaxing view and sound. The house was acceptable.”

“It was a solitary building , we was the only g Family staying at the property , still is remodeling we found flying insects .. also there is not ac in the entire apt. The portables ac for the rooms areas not enough .. there is not good place to walk or have dinner … needs improvement 😢”

“Our flight got canceled after we had gotten to the airport. So we were scrambling for a place to stay since they weren't able to get us on another flight until the next evening. Communication was excellent, the unit owner was very accommodating and pleasant. He made sure the unit was cleaned for us within an hour since we were arriving late and an hour away from the location. Very grateful to him for giving us a place to rest our heads after a crazy night at the airport!”

“ When we got to the room it was full of dust, its facilities should be improved, the armchairs were dirty and stained, the dryer and washing machine were very old. Ceilings full of water stains.”
