“At the crest of a steep hill overlooking the Mohawk Valley, the property is well situated. Valerie welcomed us warmly and showed us where to find the necessities. All bathroom facilities work very well. The vicinity is very quiet. Full breakfast was delicious and plentiful. ”

“Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed. Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets. The part of the house we stayed……

“Fast check in, clean comfortable rooms, and a quiet atmosphere were great. I liked the fact that the light in the bathroom wasn't overpowering, although having the option for a bit more would be great. Only issue was that one of the 2 days, the breakfast was lacking in vegetarian options. The 2nd day was very meat heavy, with only waffles and oatmeal not containing meat.”

“We love this place and the owner Jenn! We are coming back, hopefully soon! We had fun in the tavern down stairs and slept like babies all weekend in our room. This place is one of a kind! We’ve stayed at dozens of places throughout the Adirondacks and this one is by far, our favorite! ”
