"Overall the property, or indeed, our apartment was great. Clean, and all rooms to a very good standard. Location access was and could be tricky as pavement area requires you to be vigilant to oncoming traffic as you navigate the entry gate. Fantastic views of the landscape of Funchal and 5 minutes walk down the hill you'll find a bank, local cafe/bar, local supermarket and the most beautiful of churches. Back yard. The problem is the fence has a plastic lining and you cannot see the water from the sitting area. You have to go in the backyard,
But there were mosquitoes and 3 levels of Neighbour . They should consider mosquito repellent and an umbrella for privacy. "
