Seabreeze-Feel the Gulf Breezes
Bring the whole family to Seabreeze for a peaceful Galveston getaway. Less than 1 1/2 miles to the Seawall/Beach, close to the history, shopping, travel and entertainment Galveston has to offer with 2 full bedrooms, 1 full baths (shower only), fully equipped kitchen, fenced yard and everything else you'll need for a few days or a few months. Traveling for fun? Excellent close to everything! Traveling for work or for an extended stay? Spread out in this home and enjoy all the comforts of home.
In the center of town you'll have easy access to everything Galveston has to offer from history to dining to museums and entertainment - oh yeah - and then there's the beaches! Close to shopping (groceries, souvenirs, boutiques on the strand) and you're never too far from the cruise terminal to hop on and sail away to other islands! One of the best things about a house like this is you can pack lightly and / or stay longer - because in addition to the full suite of kitchen appliances, there is also a washer/dryer available for your use. Please keep in mind that due to skin and scent sensitivities, we do not provide laundry products.
A private WiFi connection means you can work from home, home school, or stream whatever you wish while in the property.
The primary bedroom (just beyond the kitchen) has a queen bed. The second bedroom has triple twin bunks - only the bottom 2 are used for sleeping, the top mattress has been removed for safety and that area is available for storage of luggage. Please note that through this bedroom is the door to access the back yard - be sure if you have young ones in this room they know your rules about exiting the property with or without your permission!
This home does welcome a small dog or two - we will ask for pictures of the animal(s) and there is a $75 per dog non refundable fee. For insurance purposes there are breed restrictions - we are not permitted to have pit bulls, rottweilers, chows, shepherds or Dobermans or any "mutt" that contains the bloodline of any of these breeds. You should ensure that your dog has the proper tags, ,and we recommend traveling with their shot records just in case anything were to happen. Please ensure you follow all leash laws within the City and County as well.
We look forward to hosting you in this privately owned home which the owners entrust us to manage on their behalf.
We provide each guest with a bath, hand and wash cloth, as well as kitchen towels and starter supplies of paper products, toiletries, dish washing options, and coffee. These are intended to get you started while you make your list and decide where to shop (there is a WalMart, Kroger, Randall's, Arlan's and Target on the island, as well as many mom & pop grocery stores.
After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.
Galveston is a barrier island in Texas located on the Gulf of Mexico. From time to time we have unexpected rain, thunderstorms, and sometimes we do have tropical storms and hurricanes. From time to time there may be brief interruptions in electricity and WiFi services due to weather. You should consider purchasing trip interruption or cancelation protection through the platforms or another source. We are unable to guarantee sunny days, mosquito free nights and perfect weather, nor do we refund for these possibilities. We issue refunds in the event of mandatory evacuations issued by a governmental agency, or for the property being unavailable due to damages and extended power outages.
For all reservations made directly through our website and through VRBO, there is a $300 security deposit “hold” required. You certainly can purchase trip cancellation/interruption coverage through those platforms as well if you so desire, this is a damage “deposit” hold. This is released once our housekeepers advise that the property has been left in the condition received with no damages occurring during your stay. This is not a charge, but a hold on the credit card on file with which the reservation is made. Should there be damages and they exceed $300 to repair or replace, you will be notified and asked to make arrangements to compensate for those items.
