“The private setting on the lake is beautiful. Great view. Very peaceful. Everything worked fine - tvs, air conditioner, oven, dishwasher, plumbing, ect. The only drawback is something the owner could easily fix - the place needs a good cleaning. For example, the refrigerator was dirty, several of the pots and pans had food still stuck on them, there were lots of cobwebs and spiderwebs with dead bugs, the walls and windows need wiping and cleaning. “We were in town for one night for an event- this was the perfect spot - great location, beautiful view of the lake and a stones throw from Richardson Beach, MacDonald Memorial Park, downtown, and Queens U. Lovely stay - Couldn’t really have asked for more.”

“There is a garage but it had a snowbank plowed in front of it so we could not park in it. There is no hot tub or smart tv as listed. The tv wouldnt even turn on i went and bought an extension cord because nothing in the plug in was working, turned out the plug had no power. Pots and pans are in bad shape. Only had 2 towels for our group. I did message the property and asked about getting additional towels and about the tv but got no response. There was old dried up flowers in vases we had to……

“Upon arrival at this house we were greeted with an unkempt lawn and a key pad that would not unlock the house. Once inside we were blasted with a stale, moldy, old-smoke smell. Upon further inspection, we found hair in the shower and on the back of the toilet. One of the toilets was most definitely not cleaned as it had poop on the sides of the bowl. “Its location in a wonderful place near a lake - but building should have maintained in a better way. Its a four bed room, with only 1 queen bed and rest are all single bed / bunk beds poor lightings overall the cottage - and no lamps bathroom - no proper shower - no toilet papers - no lock - no door mats, I will not recommand for large groups. If well maintained this place is good to spend a peaceful stay.”
