Super easy to talk to the owner! It’s in a great little small town. The hot tub was heaven! The lake being so close was amazing. Loved it, would totally stay here again!

Great place, unique property

Had a great time with some friends for a weekend here. The Treetops name is a great fit - the property is uniquely situated on a hill in the woods. House was very comfortable and clean, had everything we needed. Even though not directly on the water, just a short (maybe 100 yards) walk to a private dock with great swimming and fishing, plus a couple of kayaks and a row boat. Highly recommended!

Private getaway

Very nice! Nice space for a family of 4. Lots of steps up to the house, it will take a lot out of you. Lake is awesome with a great dock, row boat, 2 kayaks, and a paddle boat. Close to Lake Michigan!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

My 3 friends and I (ages 23-26) stayed at Trendy Beach Cottage for 3 nights and we had a blast, I wish the trip didn't end so soon! The house is super cute and cozy, very clean, and very well stocked! We spent most of our time on the lake using Matt & Laura's kayaks and we definitely took advantage of the grill, hot tub, and bonfire. There is hiking nearby, breweries nearby, and South Haven is only a 30 minute drive from the house. We definitely enjoyed our time here and will strongly consider coming back!

Exactly as advertised

Only two days/nights at this super cute cabin, wish we had more time! Very clean, roomy, comfortable beds looking out into the forest. Took 30 seconds to walk to lake, enjoyed watching the sun set as we kayaked. Made use of the hot tub and fire pit. Only me & my husband but plenty of room if we had brought the two kiddos. Beautiful location - highly recommend staying here!

Perfect for serene weekend getaway

This cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. When we arrived, the cottage was clean and inviting. We immediately explored the property and jumped in the hot tub! The cottage is just steps from peaceful lake with very friendly neighbors. We opted to use the kayaks to explore the lake and enjoy the beautiful weather. There are several decks on the property, perfect for eating outside, bird watching, or taking in a fire. The property is cozy and comfortable and has all the modern amenities you need! We cooked a lot and the kitchen is fully equipped to tackle most culinary tasks. There is also wifi and satellite TV access in case you need to stay inside. I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat. We didn't want to leave!

Wonderful, wonderful treetop cottage

We had a wonderful time at the Treetop cottage. I can't say enough nice things about it. My wife & I both thought highly of the place and we'd definitely come back. It was so relaxing being up in the trees. The cottage is up on a nice little hill and we felt like we had our own little oasis. The cottage was laid out in a nice open floor plan and was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we especially liked all the windows at night. The cottage had 3 porches and we loved the main one off the entry door. Laura was super nice and communicated everything well with us as needed. The cottage is in Gobles (try the "Klassic" arcade) and Kalamazoo, Allegan and Paw Paw are 17-20 minutes away. There's also an excellent pizza place called Erbelli's in Kalamazoo - highly recommended. All in all, the cottage was just what we needed and made for a relaxing and fun week.

can’t recommend this place highly enough! property was even better in person, and the location was stunning. we spent most of our time on-site, but enjoyed the close proximity to several beach towns. amenities were great, and we particularly enjoyed the hot tub, private dock/boats, and the fire pit. we were super impressed by the cleanliness and the attention to even the smallest detail (it was so nice arriving to full trays of ice and a selection of coffee pods!). no issues during our stay, but reached out to the host with a couple of questions and got prompt and thorough responses every time. hoping we can stay here again someday - it was a wonderful experience!

Perfect place for a getaway

My girlfriend and I are small business owners and have been going non stop for a year and a half and needed a few days to do absolutely nothing and this was the perfect location to go off grid and just be still. It was so quiet and the house was just the perfect size for us. The hot tub was nice and we used the paddleboat while we were there. Having breakfast out on the front porch with nature was the perfect setting to start the day. We wanted to go somewhere where we wouldn't be bothered and this was perfect. We read books, napped, watched tv (which we never do), went for walks, watched the sunset on the porch, had a nice fire in the firepit and just enjoyed each other's attention. Perfect getaway. Communication from the owner was quick and pleasant. Will be staying again hopefully sooner than another year and a half.

Great lil cabin close to the lake!

Check in was easy, cabin was very clean and kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cookware. Master room had great views to wake up to. Hot tub was awesome. Short walk to dock and lake, swimming right at the dock with a sandy bottom. Only downside is the firepit was almost over full so we could not use it. Other than that was great place, would stay again!!

Tree top cottage

Very steep stairs to the cottage. Parking is rough , very strong sewage smell in the cottage, hot tub did not work.drive way was full of mud holes very rough.

Gobles stay

The cottage was the perfect choice for our visit to the Gobles area! Very clean and comfortable. Since we were mostly visiting family in the area we didn’t get a chance to enjoy everything the cottage has to offer. Hope to next time!
