We didn’t actually stay here due to the plumbing issue so they put us in their sister hotel nearby. They were very helpful in making sure that we were satisfied. They were still our first contact. Our room in the sister hotel had slow drain and Smokey smell due to someone smoking in the fire scape. They managed to move us right away and even put us in a bigger room. Overall the management was very accommodating to our needs and they even threw a free breakfast for our 5 night stay. Location is near a subway station and there are a lot of local restaurants nearby.

The manager and her team went above and beyond to assist us, especially when it came to arranging tours, coordinating drivers, and ensuring our transportation to the train station was seamless. That level of support made our entire trip so much more enjoyable and stress-free. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Right in the middle with the locals. The location was perfect for exploring Beijing and the amenities were wonderful. One of the standout touches for us was the complimentary laundry service, which was incredibly convenient during our stay. What truly sets this hotel apart is the hotel staff. The kindness, professionalism, and care shown by the staff made this experience unforgettable. We absolutely recommend the Forbidden City Hotel to anyone visiting Beijing, and we will most definitely be booking with them again on our next trip.
