La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Downtown North
10/10 Excellent
"The room was exactly as listed. I needed additional accommodations because the king bed was small and I was given a room right across the hall which was very convenient. Staff was friendly the hotel was clean. The exercise room was nice. Breakfast had many options. The room was spacious w/ microwave, fridge, blow dryer, iron, extra blanket, coffee service, etc. I really enjoyed my stay."
"Friendly and helpful staff made this a great stay! I believe they are renovating the 4th floor. This will be good as the carpets could use a face lift! Excellent breakfast. Wished the cookies had been restocked daily! Still a 5-star stay!"
Cozy Private Guest House near Neuse River, Pet-Friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"We loved staying at this sweet little guest house! It was the perfect base for a lot of adventuring. very quiet and calm, a great place to recharge. Bed was super comfy, shower was nice, mirror had nice lighting. we enjoyed the little breakfast nook and cooktop as well as the patio seating. Not too far from downtown raleigh and a manageable drive to chapel hill. Wifi and signal wasn’t super strong so I wouldn’t recommend trying to take a video call or anything here. we also enjoyed the village district shopping center about 15 min away. I loved seeing the little amenities for dogs tucked away."
"The biggest plus of this house is the location — it’s very close to the amphitheater, which made it convenient for our weekend stay. However, the property itself could really use some attention and updates. We noticed roaches in the kitchen, and none of the outlets on the kitchen counter worked, which made it difficult to use basic appliances. The living room had very limited comfortable seating, so it wasn’t a great space for relaxing or hanging out as a group. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable — if you have back problems, this probably isn’t the best place to stay.Overall, it worked for a short trip because of how close it is to the venue, but if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable to unwind or plan to spend much time in the house, you may want to look elsewhere. Also, there were no cleaning supplies whatsoever. So, With a few repairs, updates, and a deep cleaning, it could be a much better stay."
"Pretty basic town home. Great for our one night stay. Minimal furniture in bedrooms. Refrigerator wasn’t really keeping our items cool so we just used the freezer. "
