"We have just returned from a fantastic week in Harris staying at Jane cottage. Perfect little home from home for 2. Views from the large picture windows are fantastic, at the end of a track but still close to Tarbert. Ideal location and very comfortable and clean cottage. Would recommend, lovely and peaceful."

It was a joy to communicate with the owner, Fiona. We loved the little additional touches, like the local shower gels and shampoo from the Isle of Harris. The Outer Hebrides were better than we imagined. I definitely recommend the hike around the island of Scalpay which you can do right from the house, including a visit to the lighthouse, a definite highlight. The most magnificent beaches are only a short drive away. I hope we can return! And when we do, we will definitely stay here. "
