"This was our second stay at Lazy Pines, & we had another fabulous time. We were able to spend a little over three weeks at the cabin, & we took advantage of everything it had to offer. Some days, we spent a great deal of time by the lake watching the wildlife & enjoying the peace & quiet. Other days, we spent time inside the cabin baking, cooking, reading, & show binging. The kitchen has everything that we needed for cooking & baking. We enjoyed a lot of homemade breads & soups during our stay. The two living areas are very comfortable & cozy, & we watched football & binged our Netflix/Prime shows in both areas. The main bedroom has an extremely comfortable bed with a great view of the lake. One of the nights, we could see the Northen Lights from bed. It was amazing!We traveled to Lake Itaska to see where the Mississippi River begins (We live on the Mississippi River across from the STL area.) & to Duluth to see Lake Superior. We checked out Crosslake and Nisswa as well...love both of these towns! After our sightseeing days, we returned to the cabin & felt right at home.Renae and Matt, the owners, are fabulous & ensured that we had everything we needed before & during our stay. They were very responsive any time we texted or needed anything. We truly had a memorable experience at the cabin. Even though we stayed an extended period of time, it wasn't long enough. We are already looking for dates for our next visit!"

"This property was a unique and cool blend of a rustic cabin feel, and modern interior. The original old school cabin is intact as the entrance point/livingroom, then the adjoining new space is the modern expansion where the kitchen and bedrooms are located. Wonderful space. We loved it. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the pantry had dry goods that were left behind by others/owners which is great had we needed anything. The paver patio, fire pit, and hot tub area is beautiful and we spent time there everyday/night! We hope to visit this rental again! Thank you!"
