Also, I was initially unsure which room I would occupy. But everything got sorted out. The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard. “I’m not really sure how to describe our appreciation of this place, or the hosts.The place itself was lovely, very comfortable, and had a very homelike feel. I even loved the steps to the loft. Our hosts… God bless them! They went above and beyond in accommodating us, and preparing for our stay. We were in the area, not on a pleasure trip, but for the funeral of a family member. Our host didn’t make us feel like just another number on the books, but expressed genuine sympathy and care towards……

“If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet.”
