7.2/10 Good! (2,658 reviews)
My room faced the mountains, but the view was open enough to see both the hills and a bit of the Ala Wai canal, so I had no complaints. The room was clean and bright, the kitchen was easy to use, and plenty of bath towels were provided, which made my stay very comfortable.
I stayed from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. Over the weekend, I enjoyed quiet breakfasts on the balcony, but on Monday, the construction noise from the 6th-floor recreation deck was so loud from early in the morning that I couldn’t have breakfast outside. The renovation is scheduled to continue until June 2026, and during this period, the hotel pool and jacuzzi are not available — something to keep in mind when booking.
That was the only disappointing part. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay, and since most travelers in Honolulu are out during the day, the construction may not be a major issue for many guests.
