"The best hotel we stayed at during our Cairo-Aswan-Luxor trip. Very friendly staff, great facilities, tidy rooms and beautiful river front area to relax after a day of exploring. Great buffet for people though limited options for vegans, with poor dietary restriction notices on the food, though belatedly having spoken to the chef he said he would’ve made us something special during our stay had we made it know (so better to do that personally than rely on the waiting staff to make your plight known!)"

"We suffered from reliance on Expedia’s over-rating; more a rustic camp than hotel; easy walks to both Luxor and Konark Temples and restaurants along the Nile Promenade (Kornish Al Nile). Very friendly, polite, helpful staff but poor management. "

"Best kept secret on the Nile! While a little off the beaten path, that's also what makes this place so appealing. My kids didn't want to leave. Great breakfast, immaculate pool, phenomenal service. 100% recommend. "

" The room view was fantastic over the nile which made up for the terrible fishy smell and broken balcony chairs. We were offered seat pads to cover up the neglect. The room key did not retain memory and needed daily refresh. We seemed to be our fault. Tea section was limited to black tea. I personally dislike single use plastic toiletries bottles as they are bad for the environment. The hall carpets could do with regular cleaning Pool area needed a refresh. Disliked walking through the shabby smoking area to get to the pool, we were unable to use game area ,No ping pong ball or bat. Heavy use of plastic, tea spoons, toiletries, Buttler, ketchup, sugar single use. "

The location on the West Bank in Luxor is great—many attractions are nearby. They also offer a guide and driver service, which was very convenient. Highly recommend.""

"Left before breakfast but an amazing property "

"I was well pleased with the bedroom I was given- overlooked the nile as I requested, Booked taxi was waiting for me at the airport. The breakfast was superb and the view from the restaurant fantastic. the facilities stated on the web site said the hotel susanna had a restaurant serving excellent meals diner especially. However when I asked for dinner in the restaurant I was informed it did not serve dinner only breakfast. This was very annoying as a single lady I did not want to wander around at night and had booked the hotel for this reason. fortunately the hotel nefertiti nearby had a excellent restaurant. The male receptionist took my post cards and I paid extra for someone to take to the PO .To date none of the six postcards have arrived at the Uk / or Germany addresses."
