The resort staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly made me feel seen and valued throughout my stay. The entire property was spotless and beautifully updated, with stunning amenities that added to the overall experience. The Wave at Marblehead

Easy to check in late at night, beds are very comfy unlike at some 4-5 star hotels I’ve been at. Breath taking view of the lake as soon as you head to the lobby in the morning. Didn’t try the food but will be sure to next visit.

Our stay was amazing. The only downfall was the parking. With both the restaurant and the hotel being attached, as a guest staying at the hotel, we couldn’t find a place to park because of how busy the restaurant got. We had to drive around for a little bit again before coming back because there were no spots available to get to our rooms.

the wave was great. The place was clean and cozy. The fitness center was fantastic, plenty of room and weights to do what you want. Everyone who worked there, from the front desk to the bar/ restaurant, was so friendly.

Great service, our room was very clean with a modern atmosphere and had a beautiful lake view. The fitness center was also spotless with brand new equipment. Cant wait to come back in a warmer season!

Negatives are amenities: bathroom sink ridiculously small and no other mirror to apply makeup etc., and can’t use toilet seat for space as there’s no lid, no coffeemaker, no guide for TV, 2 drinks at the outdoor bar came to $50 with tip, very nice upscale property. I would expect better

The decor of this property was very nice - bright hallways, very clean. Kind of Scandinavian decor. Staff was friendly. It was very convenient to the places we wanted to go and is right across the street from Lake Erie. The downside for us is that we are in our 70s the beds were on low platforms which made it harder to get in and out of the bed, and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, but had no countertop or shelves to put toiletries on. We did not eat at the facility. They only have brunch on weekends, so we went in town to a place called Latitudes for a very nice breakfast. When we asked where a gas station was, no one seemed to know, which we thought was very strange. We had to travel about 7 miles to find one in Port Clinton.

We love this property, no key cards (perfect). The location was amazing. The staff was extraordinary. The restaurant’s staff and hotel’s staff was very helpful. The food was good. The bar at the resort was excellent, kid friendly place. We brought outside food and sat by the fire pit, the staff actually brought water, napkins. The only problem we had was on day one where right above our room where some kids running around, we told the staff three times to do something about it but nothing happened. The staff member said they are going to tell those guests (1 AM) and finally the noise ended at around 3 AM.

Summer Trip

Beds and carpet in the room felt very damp. There was a big brown stain on the comforter that housekeeping had to have seen. The bath towels also had stains. There were hairs in the shower. The room had a strong smell of fish. We ate at the hotel restaurant. We ordered our food around 7:45 and didnt get it until almost 9pm. We only ordered two salads and chicken fingers. Would not recommend staying here. We left a day early and booked a different hotel.

We stayed here 3 nights.This place did not have a very clean room. The bathroom sink had a leak. The beds were horrible, cheap mattresses, like a futon. The POOL, where my kids wanted to swim, was disgustingly dirty, so cloudy it was like mucky pond water. One front desk worker was kind and helpful. The other with dark hair was a rude snob and unprofessional. They were so CHEAP they had gross toilet paper snd gave you NO EXTRA. I literally saw multiple guests having to go get extra toilet paper. Then, they were OUT of clean towels when I went to get more. This place looks better in pictures. Not impressive.
