"This cabin was absolutely incredible! We loved all of the space the cabin had to offer! Plenty of seating options indoor and out. The "egg chairs" were so relaxing and comfortable - they were definitely a favorite coffee/book location. The hot tub is clearly well maintained and was used by our family multiple times each day (we appreciated the shower on the deck as well!). "Had our cycling team camp here and the location and amenities could not be more perfect!! From having bathrooms in each room, bike racks, recovery boots- the whole team absolutely loved the location. I will say be prepared for the most difficult climb of the day being the driveway, but that aspect just made the trip that much more enjoyable"

We were worried because the hot tub is right on the road, but we didn't see anyone during our stay, so it turned out just fine! We need to contact the owner halfway through our stay, and they were very responsive and kind. Overall great stay!"

"Came to visit family, my family history goes back at least 100 years in Yancey County. Drove from Florida, stayed in this cozy spot for three nights! Lots of room and decorated nicely. Lots of towels and blankets and room for privacy if you’re traveling with others. Loved the layout, the couch, the kitchen. Thank you for the hospitality and excellent communication."

"The house sits up on a knoll overlooking Lake James. There are amazing views of the lake from most rooms in the house and the front porch/fire pit area. Also nice Mountain View’s in the back. House is really nice and has been updated / renovated recently. Our stay was short but really enjoyed staying here and would definitely look to come back in the future!"
