“The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid.”

“This is a great location if you want to check out the lake superior Lakeshore, as well as Bayfield and Madeleine Island. Everything is very conveniently located you can walk to most places in Ashland right from the place. The apartment is pretty basic with kitchen items, but enough to do what you need to do. Very comfortable bad and very quiet.”

“Charming property that was well equipped for the stay. All the cabinets were labeled, making it so easy to find everything. Very responsive host. House itself was clean and comfortable. A great place to stay with a group. Yard area was also lovely for time outside and well equipped with chairs and a fire pit. Would definitely stay again.”
