"Suited us as going out to friends. Quiet village. Pub dinner menu looked lovely. Very friendly. Rooms are in a courtyard. Our twin was snug but hada desk area and hanging space. The space was well thought out. Breakfast excellent. Full English. Food is local and we saw the pigs and sheep they keep on farm area. Not a hotel. It is a pub / inn with separate courtyard rooms. Staff very obliging and friendly. "

"Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge.
Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes.
Would stay again without hesitation."

"Host was friendly, and very talkative at breakast in the morning. Facilities were clean, and the bed I slept in was extremely comfortable. The only downside was that you could hear everything from the other rooms, including conversations, television, and other noises. "

"Guido and Maria were fantastic hosts and always went the extra mile. Best expresso and English breakfast ever! Great pub 5 min walk and easy access to the backs for a nice walk or jog along the cam."

"Needed three rooms for an overnight stay for a wedding reception. Rooms were clean and comfy. Free full English breakfast was very tasty. Dave was very welcoming and helpful, went above and beyond helping us with taxis when we were let down and struggling to book transport."
Little Barn South Cambridgeshire just 8 Miles from the city of Cambridge
10/10 Excellent
"Little Barn was a lovely place for a short break, it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast items were of a good quality as were all the toiletries, we were very impressed. The location was idea for driving to the nearest park and ride into Cambridge and was very quiet. It was not warm enough for us to sit outside unfortunately but the garden looked beautiful. We would love to make a return visit in the summer. One small suggestion would be the provision of a sharp knife for cutting up fruit etc."
"Beautifully tucked away in a country village with local walks highlighted in the welcome pack. A quiet place to stay.Historic building beautifully restored into a stunning accommodation without detracting from its History. The Red Cow Inn itself full of exposed beams, excellent friendly staff and an award winning menu."
"Cracking wee pub, the staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size well presented, and very tidy. The breakfast was great - thank you"
"Very clean and very comfortable, with very good air conditioning - very welcome on the hottest day of the year!
My only criticism is the booking process guidelines are not clear and the online system needs improvement. It was not made clear that we would not receive the email with access instructions until the security process was completed and the deposit paid. Then, when trying to pay the deposit, it was not clear that Amex was not accepted and the system just said "declined" right at the end of the process. So we had to make a couple of calls to the 24/7 helpline to clarify check-in which was annoying, although they were very helpful.
We would definitely stay again as the rooms were fabulous, but for first-time guests the process should be clearer."
