"Very clean. It was spacious. The area was beautiful with the mountains right there and I'm in the valley. I got some good sunset pics with the mountains. It was more than I needed but this is what was available. Has a small kitchen but I only saw a pizza pan and an 8x8 pan. No saucepan. But I didn't come prepared to cook. Area was quiet. "

"All four of us loved our stay at this beautifully appointed cabin home. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed to make great meals (there are no real restaurants close to this terrific home). The beds were super comfortable and the home was absolutely spotless (including the huge windows with incredible views). The expansive deck was perfect for taking in the breathtaking sight of the dunes at early morning, midday, dusk, .....and the night sky (SO DARK) offered up spectacular views of those amazing stars in the clear Colorado nights. The remote neighborhood felt very safe and so quiet! We can't really say enough about the ease of booking, communication, and the beauty of the home and surrounding area -- if you plan to visit the Great Sand Dunes, we believe this is the perfect home. You won't be disappointed. The place is exactly as described and you'll have a wonderful stay. We'll be back!"

"This place was amazing! Inside perfect living space, clean. The real treat was outside. Venable creek is literally off the back deck. We sat out there listening and watching for hours. Plus it was a 2 minute drive to the Venable trail head. Great location for what we wanted. We had a. Issue with the fireplace our first night, the owner had people at the house within 15 minutes. No complaints whatsoever, my dogs loved it also. Will stay again! Ghanks"

"This place is perfect for a girls’ getaway. It offers breathtaking views and a hot tub for relaxation. It couldn’t be a more ideal place to stay. Plus, it’s close to some local towns for shopping. "

"Me and my puppy had a blast! We chose this spot because I wanted my dog to be able to run around off leash and explore, and that's what we did every single day. I was working remotely and the wifi was perfect for that, and every morning, evening, and during my lunch break my puppy got to go romp in the woods. We ran into a moose! And found some bear poop. So I was a little nervous actually lol, thankfully my dog doesn't get too far away from me and has pretty good recall."
