![Camped out for the weekend on Hotel Island on Lake Ouachita (there is no hotel on the island :) It's just the largest of hundreds of islands on this lake). This was the view of our beach and first sunset on the lake. "A trustworthy and clean space each time I've stayed, 2 times now at the Joplin Inn, once in the harbor north cabins. I prefer the inn as it's convenient and right off the highway. They also offer an area in the back to wash any crystals that you might mine. 😊"

"We love that the property is clean and peaceful and the folks are friendly. The coffee is fresh every morning and amazing! We come at least once a year. What we didn’t like was discovering there is a charge for plate sharing at the restaurant!!! I did not even know that was a thing! And if you plan on getting anything to go, be prepared to be charged for every plate a service charge. Other than that, I absolutely love this place! And we will be back!"
