“Great location and very near to church in Akureyri. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and should be the best I met in 2-week stay in Iceland. Rooms are normal in size, neat and tidy. Breakfast included in room charge though abit overpriced”

“This was an amazing property! Everything about the room was very good. The hot tub made it extra special. We hope to visit Iceland again and see the contrast in Summer and would definitely stay here again!”

“Beautiful quiet riverside location. Really enjoyed my stay here. Greeted at reception by a lovely chap (Leonardo?) who was very welcoming and organised some soup for me within minutes of my arrival. The room was warm clean and comfortable. Being out of season (mid October) there were only a few guests staying but there was always a member of staff available. I can highly recommend this place. ”

“Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. However the room does not include duvet which means you either have to rent one (1100 isk) or bring your own sleeping bag. You will have to bring your luggage upstairs too.”
