Wonderful location, just down the street from the ferry terminal. Great shopping close by. Golf cart and bikes available. Nice sitting area in front of the rooms. The hotel is old and needs some care. No frills no hair dryer. Dogs allowed which is so nice. We still had a great stay and vacation.

We checked in at 8pm. Office was closed (they closed at 5pm) but a envelope with room keys was in a basket right next to the office door. Got to the room and it was clean. This is not a bad review against housekeeping just the management. First...I ordered a king room at a higher rate and got 2 queen beds. The TV had bad reception on almost every channel and there were 3 burn spots about the size of a quarter on the TV screen that was in the same spot on every channel. The bathroom light would be lit for 30 seconds and then start intermittently flashing. Then start flashing like it was a disco ball. And it didn't stop. There were extension cords running up the window over the curtains connecting to the light next to the bed. Basically the room sucked. For almost $200/night I feel ripped off. There wasn't much to choose from on the island so I took what I could find on such late notice. There will not be a next time.

Nice room, amazing views of the harbor. We especially liked the deck chairs on the porch looking over the bay. Ice machine was close by, elevator was slow but convenient. We arrived late so the front office was closed, but they left our key out for us. Seemed like there was plenty of parking, and several good restaurants within easy walking distance. Close to the ferry pier for our 7:30am departure.

The Anchorage was located in a super location. I loved having the area on our floor where we could sit for morning coffer or an after dinner drink. The bath and beds were great. We had to find towels, the front lock was not working well. When I could not get in I went to get someone who basically said it was me...until he could not get in. We struggled with that the entire time we were there. My main complaint was that the floors were just filthy. We all remove our shoes at our homes, so we did the same but my feet got dirty immediately. We adjusted and because of our response to the door lock, we kept quiet about the floors. I think for the price, the unit should have been clean. We were there 3 nights but we had to go get more towels, more toilet paper and more coffee. Just not my level of cleanliness or service.

The location was great. It was across from the marina and there were lots of dining and shopping options within walking distance. The room was fine. The elevator never did work for us. You're definitely paying for the location as the room was expensive for what it was.

This hotel directly overlooks the harbor, the view is gorgeous! They are also pet friendly. I wont stay anywhere else!
