"We have been staying in the mid coast Maine area for vacation over the last decade and our family agreed that this house in Owl’s Head was the best of all. Every detail has been considered for guests and the house is light-filled, immaculate and comfortable. The location is perfect- we saw so much wildlife, kayaked every day, and had fantastic meals just down the road in Rockland (Ada’s is our favorite). Jen is a very responsive and accommodating host. Can we give it 10 stars??"

"We spent our family Thanksgiving here and it was great. The house is spotless and welcoming. The views over the water are perfect to wake up to. My only comment is that the fireplace was out of commission so if you’re renting in cold weather, you might want to know this. Other than that, the house is absolutely wonderful."

"Maine is spectacular in mid-October. The Primrose Apartment was the perfect location to see the colorful leaves, visit lighthouses and enjoy all both Rockland and Camden have to offer. Alex and Siobhan were gracious, thoughtful and kind hosts. The view of Glen Cove from both the kitchen window and the deck is stunning. "We renewed our wedding vows at Children’s Chapel. The area is beautiful, beach is amazing, there is a rock on the beach that has dates and names carved all over it from the 1800’s. The host was GREAT Alex told us stories and let us hear his “Alabama accent” LOL. I could’ve talked to him all day. We had a great trip and plan on coming back."

"Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all."

"A little gem! Our stay was at the beginning of May, so before peak season. We started in Portland on Tuesday, went to Bar Harbor, and then traveled back to Portland for a flight on Saturday. On Thursday we booked this hotel for Friday to Saturday. Luckily the hotel had availability but we would have booked sooner during peak season. The owners, who greeted us at the front desk, were so friendly and inviting. The hotel room was clean and just what we needed for a one night trip. We were on the second floor and could hear some people upstairs (I think they were children running around), but it didn't bother us. The breakfast accommodations were perfect, with jams, sausages, make your own waffles, juices, etc. Last but not least - the flowers outside along with the bridge to town are BEAUTIFUL and so well maintained! You can tell the owners and staff who work here truly care. "
