As other reviewers note the surrounding area isn’t particularly inviting but it didn’t feel unsafe. We walked to and from the hotel including at night. Zadar is still pretty unspoilt and quiet compared to Dubrovnik or Split but more flights year on year bring more tourists with new hotels opening to accommodate them, in areas outside the old town, this being one. It is an easy taxi ride from the airport and 15 mins walking distance from the old town.
It was clean and comfortable but our room was very small and quite noisy - could hear toilets and showers in surrounding rooms during the night.
Staff were good.

Great location in the centre of old town. Very convenient to walk downstairs and be in the middle of all the shops and restaurants.
We could not hear any noise from the streets down below when we wanted to sleep or get some rest with our 4 month old baby. Room was also very clean with a great AC unit and shower.
The vouchers for the breakfast place nearby was perfect! I would recommend it if that’s an option (Coffee and Cake) It had many different breakfast options with a coffee and juice included.
The staff was very accommodating and provided us with info, restaurants and things to do in the area via WhatsApp. Checking in and out was very easy too.

We were greated on arrival and shown around our amazing apartment - it was fantastic and right in the middle of Zadar old town, so everything was within easy reach!
I look forward to returning soon!!

"We didn't choose this hotel. Our other accommodation cancelled the day before and Hotels.com found this option for us. I wouldn't have chosen a family hotel but we were desperate. Housekeeping was erratic - one day they emptied the bin, another day they made the bed, one day they cleaned the bathroom. ..."
