Super quiet environment. Lots of nature. Great location between Manuel and the town. Denny and Paula were super helpful. Breakfast every morning is nice because you’re busy doing excursions and it helps with the cost. We had a great and safe experience. Slight plumbing issue but the villa resolved it immediately.

This hotel was wonderful with a great view and plenty of wildlife. Paula was extremely helpful, friendly, and hospitable. We loved our stay here! Also, the night-guard takes his job seriously and we felt very safe here.

Great choice if you want to see jungle wildlife right from the Villas . Units and property very well maintained, units are large and has everything you need for the stay.. Being in the jungle and we had some rain did bring the insects around ..

This property is absolutely gorgeous. The pool area is beautifully landscaped and feels like a little tropical oasis. We were able to see so many monkeys in the trees and it was fun to watch them with the other travellers. Our unit had a big balcony with a hammock to relax and enjoy a distant ocean view. The desk and bar staff were so friendly and made everything easy. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Villas Nicolas. The property is conveniently located on the Main Street and close to restaurants. Our room was very nice and had a lovely view of both the jungle and sea. We were able to see monkeys and birds in the morning and it was truly magical. The Breakfast is delicious and the general layout and landscaping of the property makes you think you’re in an oasis. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful grounds with many plants and we saw so many animals on the property!! Macaws living in one of the trees for years, a sloth was living right outside our balcony and many monkeys constantly traveling through. Pool was nice. Nice to have breakfast included. Just note some rooms have many stairs so probably not great for some older people.

There simply are no words to explain how absolutely wonderful of a place Villas Nicolás is. Dennis and the other staff members are so accommodating. We stayed in a lovely unit with a balcony. There were toucans, monkeys and so many birds we could enjoy from our balcony. Great kitchen area for cooking. The pool was heaven. If there were more and 5 stars available for a rating I would give it to Villas Nicolás.

It felt like you are truly in the rainforest. We had monkeys play a few meters from us, beautiful parrots nearby. Amazing ocean views, friendly staff, highly recommended. A few nitpicks: queen size bed, no TV (but we didn’t miss it), and the hotel jacuzzi was not working (had no hot water). Overall well worth it. The location is great, and the villas are very stylishly decorated

Great little spot

This place was like living in the jungle! We were greeted by monkeys and macaws as we checked in. The steps down to our place (5) was like walking deeper into the garden of Eden. We were welcomed by a huge sloth outside our balcony that we watched for most of the afternoon while we unpacked. Location is great, walking distance to everything. Dennis is a great host. Pool is beautiful, and breakfast was nice.

Amazing way to experience Costa Rica. Several near by dining options to chose from. The staff could not be friendlier and more attentive. Our room had a great ocean view and monkeys came to our balcony. We could hear the waves roaring at night.. peaceful. I suffered a nasty fall in Costa Rica, and our room happen to have plastic ice bricks i used on my bruises, serendipitous. I highly recommend this villa.
