“The host was very reachable and responsive and the apartment was cute. But unfortunately it was very dirty. The bedding smelled horribly of mildew and I found spots of visible mildew on the comforter. The shower was filled with mold/mildew and soap scum. The other shower barely drained. We found a potato in the cupboard with 20cm long sprouts. The apartment is old and things are broken and creaky and that’s no problem at all, but the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable. “Appartement très bien situé, en tres bon état et tres propre. Les chambres sont grandes et la literie est très confortable. Les 2 metros sont à 10/15min mais plusieurs bus passent à 5/10min. Little Venice accessible le long du canal à 30min à pied. Un grand Sainsbury est à 15 min à pied mais plein de superettes autour (dont un coast cutter) Bien adapté pour 4 adultes, peut etre juste pour 6 (SdB petite et WC non séparés), et trop petit pour 8.”

“We specially booked a 2 bedroom apartment, which was confirmed in our Expedia booking. When we arrived it was a 1 bed with a sofa bed. This aside, the kitchen cupboard was off the wall, the bath was cracked, the tiles were broken and so was the dressing table and mirror. We communicated all of this to the host and their only answer, was that they would cancel the booking (as we are stood in the apartment) and give us a refund.
