Car Rental Club Deportivo

After you've been to all of the great sights in Club Deportivo, there's heaps more to explore in the region. Grab the keys to a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and hit the road. These are some road trips we think you'll enjoy:

• You'll discover Santa Prisca Cathedral and loads of other interesting sights in Taxco. From Club Deportivo, it's 120 miles away.
• Your next stop? Make it Iguala de la Independencia, which is around 110 miles away. Iguala Municipal Palace is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Make your way to Xochimilco Ecological Park and Plant Market to reconnect with nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just chill out in the fresh air. From Club Deportivo, it's 180 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Mexico, then you might need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other things to note for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before you drive away. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or off road with your rental car.
