"A lovely county pub in a nice setting. Clean, comfortable rooms with lots of little extras, fresh milk, free water and a little bottle of chocolate port. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub itself served good food. Would highly recommend."

"Staff were very unfriendly and not welcoming at all.Infact we were made to feel they were doing us a favour by letting us stay there.
They wanted an extra £35 per person just to use the pool or spa area but had no interest in us as guests.
Rooms were drap and basic would not ever stay there again "

"Spacious and comfortable with everything you'd expect from a self-catering apartment. Comfortable bed. Fairly quiet street despite its central location."

"Comfortable, clean accommodation, great breakfast and a welcoming host. Car parking and being within walking distance of the city are real plus points."

"I rented a private room for myself. This meant I had four bunk beds and an en-suite to myself for £40. It was very clean and actually quite quiet and the check-in was super easy and friendly. A much better deal than similarly priced hotels I think. Thanks!"

"We attended TOR rooms for a nice getaway before my wife gives birth, we had been approximately 3 years ago and had a great time.
Unfortunately with the new owners it has gone completely downhill.
Upon entering the room there were around 8-9 large spiders. Ordinarily, a couple of spiders I would chuck out of the window. This time however it was almost like an infestation. I had to kill about 6 and flush them before my wife would even settle.
We could not get through to the staff on the phone so my wife knocked on the door. A staff member came and even admitted he comes here as a "spider killer".
At first, he queried where the spiders were when my wife explained I had killed them.
My wife had to show the photos for him to acknowledge that they even existed. He said because its near a field its quite normal.
Let me be clear, I grew up in the country and this is not normal, its a failure of basic hygience.
He was quite dimissive until my wife said we would simply go to a travelodge.
We did end up staying the night, and then to top it off, the breakfast basket is two heated supermarket crossoints, some granola and milk and orange juice, a significant decrease in quality.
We were going to go enjoy the spa in the morning when we were then told it was £30 for an hour and £50 for 3 hours of £80 for a whole day. (just to access the spa, not the treatment)
The prices were not this outrageous a few years ago, so we didn't; bother going in. Totally dissapointed and would not recommend.
