Extremely helpful and knowledgeable at the front desk, Eva made some research and phone calls that went above and beyond normal service in saving me from a disastrous night having to do with mishaps I was dealing with elsewhere. I wish I could have had breakfast but had to split early it looked great though What a cool funky hotel with a lot of character and history, reasonably priced and comfortable in the middle of a cool city were I connected with trad musicians I hope to attend again thanks Robert

The bar and atmosphere were amazing! This hotel was super busy with tour buses and big groups coming through. The food is great and the service excellent! The building is old and needs updated badly. The room showed signs of being very old and not professionally maintained. Faucets leaked, carpet old, bathroom tub left a lot to be desired. Overall I would stay there again, very family friendly. Just understand it is an older hotel.

Room was very basic. Really hot and no air conditioning. The room had 2 fans but when I checked in the room had curtains open and window shut, so fans didn’t really help. The room was a little tired and lacked some basic amenities. I was looking for a bottle opener so went to reception who just said they didn’t have anything, not very helpful at all.
