We parked the car and were able to walk everywhere for the duration of our weekend. Downtown Gruene is a 2 minute walk away and we found a great coffee shop (Kora Kora) about 5 minutes in the other direction. The walk to Gruene was short and easy but our favorite part was being able to walk down to the river, get in with ease and relax for a day without having to float. “Very cozy spot to just get away from the hustle and hustle of busy life. Absolutely loved all the German antiques and decor in this place and just a short drive from the Riverwalk. Owner was very sweet and friendly, and loved her sweet dog as well! Will definitely come back when we decide to make another getaway trip.”

“Quiet. Easy to access San Antonio attractions. Clean. All supplies provided except dish towels (required to wash dishes and put them in exact spot we found them). Comfortable bed. Answers to a text query came quickly. Shower head leaked when in use. The front door needs to be fixed so that it can be locked. (We tried many positions of the door and if the door was pushed, it would open). The carport would comfortably fit a midsized vehicle at best.”
