“Lovely cosy cottage and nicely refurbished kitchen. Comfortable bed and clean and tidy. The only negative is that there was no bath and very small shower. Also the toilet was difficult to flush. A new bathroom would make a huge difference to the comfort at the cottage. I would also de clutter the kitchen with unnecessary utensils. Invest in cutlery & nice plates & bowls. Heating system a little ad-hock”

“The property is much nicer and more spacious than we thought from the photos. Plenty of private parking. Patio and seating outside. Two bathrooms, one has a spa bath which we made use of. Spacious utility room and all appliance instructions available. Highly recommended. ”

“We had a nice stay at Lion cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious. There is not much in the village itself, but it is a 10 min drive to the beach and 4 min drive to a lovely farm shop. The reason I give it 3 star instead of 4/5 is because I think the check out process is a little unreasonbale. Due to covid, the check out time is 9am. Guests are expected to strip all beds of linens, ensure all dishes are washed and rubbish removed. I ordinarily wouldn't take issue with this as……
