“We really liked our state. The room was clean. The staff was friendly muffins and grains offered for a light breakfast were great. It’s a delightful quirky property. This isn’t a Manicure experience. It’s like visiting a friend who’s got a a cabin. It overlooks a lake and I think all the rooms have French doors that directly overlook the lake. The staff was really friendly and really nice.”

“We were in Newport for the Jazz Festival. The accommodations were very good, location convenient for everything. Pictures accurately depict the property. The only thing that I would suggest be improved is the wifi. We ended up using our phone hotspot to connect when we were in the room. We would stay there again.”

“The hotel is unmarked — no signage — and the door, when not locked is propped open with a fire extinguisher,!even at night. The staff is kind of nasty and exasperating.”

“I loved this place. The ambience was so “New England !” We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go, there were several excellent restaurants nearby, and it was quiet at night. I hope to come back sometime!”
