“This cabin was just as listed. We had everything we needed. The ponds were great, my kids loved to be able to fish. We had a great time. The owners were great and very responsive. There was a pretty bad storm that came through and they were quick to get the trees moved from the driveway so we could get out. I would definitely recommend.”

“First impression of the outside was not good due to lots of spider webs and tree debris. In fairness, there were recent storms in the area causing much of this, however a good power blowing would have helped. The inside was spotless and all appliances, kitchen countertops, etc. were modern. The master bed was very comfortable. The firepit was exceptional and we really enjoyed it. I broke one of the chairs around the firepit and notified the hostess, she graciously responded quickly.”

“We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. We fished off the dock and caught a wide variety of fish, but we had better luck and caught larger fish in the evening. A huge storm came through and the host kept in contact to make sure we were ok. We ended our stay short because of the county wide loss of power but definitely plan on coming back.”

“Raccoon Retreat was the perfect place to host our yearly Memorial Day weekend trip. The house is located close to the marina for launching our boat and the bar and grill was within walking distance. The house came stocked with anything you'd need for comfort. We had a party of 12 and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Will definitely be back!”

“We came to Tennessee so my husband could go hunting and me and the children could relax and hang out. This cabin was perfect, we could walk to the lake, the kids loved being outside and playing, it was well kept and updated. I would highly recommend them and stay there again.”

“We enjoyed everything about the cabin. It had all we needed to cook and grill, and with campfire logs onsite, we enjoyed our time with the outdoor bonfire. The lake and newly opened Marina restaurant were also fun. I will come back again.”

“we had a wonderful visit. everyone was very friendly and the resort had a good vibe. You could tell the couple that run this place, enjoy their job and made us feel welcome. When we arrived there was pork butts slow roasting in the smoker and a nice fire in the fire pit. They were catering to a group of hunters and showing them a good time. “We booked this for the weekend of Sept 29-Oct 1, 2023 to see our son who is attending Murray State. The property was well kept up and very clean. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The pictures and description of the Tiny House (as they called it) were true and accurate. The pool was very clean and it was located right across from us but we did not get to use it.
