Quiet creek-side cottage on 2 1/2 acres with the creek running 30 feet from the porch. As you pass through our gate, the sound of the rushing creek welcome you to our tranquil cabin. Woods that cradle the house on three sides and the creek steps away from our screened porch offer you the perfect chance to truly relax and unwind, enjoying the sounds of the Eastatoee Creek rushing over the rocks (as you sleep in one of the three newly renovated bedrooms), will provide you with one of the best night's sleep. Enjoy the morning with a freshly brewed cup of coffee on the porch, where hummingbirds gather for breakfast and the often visiting deer and wild turkey. After breakfast, keep up with your family and friends on our internet. Take a short walk to the famous, spectacular Twin Falls, spend the day splashing in the creek, or read in our lounger. Long Shoals Roadside Park is only a 10-minute drive from the cabin on scenic Hwy. 11, where you can enjoy sliding down a large rock into a cool mountain stream. Take a night-trip trout fishing on Lake Jocassee with James Couch, or take the family on a spectacular day trip only 6.2 miles from the cabin. Travel to picturesque Cashiers or Highlands, known for their boutique shops, or take the kids rafting on the Nantahala river, horseback riding at the Pisgah Forest Riding Stables, or a scenic steam train ride through the Great smokies mountains in Bryson City. Sports fans can conveniently travel to "root on" either the Clemson Tigers or Furman Paladins to a victory! In the fall, drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the beautiful foliage, or ski Sapphire or Maggie Valley in the winter. Whether you choose to spend your days at our cozy cabin or wish to venture out on daily excursions, we believe we've provided the perfect cabin.

Aaaaahhhh

What a wonderful place to relax. The creek was so enjoyable and we loved the waterfall nearby! The fireflies were so cool to see in the evening and it was awesome to see deer so close! We chose this place to be home base while we explored lake Jocassee, Stumphouse tunnel, and Hendersonville. Honestly, I would have been just fine remaining at the house! The owner was very responsive and helpful when needed. If I could give more stars, I would.

Creekside Cottage Hidden Gem

My wife, two boys, daughter, and myself stayed at this wonderful hidden gem tucked away in the South Carolina hills. To start off the drive to the cottage is an adventurous windy road canopied by trees. The cottage is right next to a relaxing creek. There are several areas to enjoy nature and listen to the water. There is a very cool waterfall just a short walk from the cabin. In the evening we watched 5 deer walk through the property. Check in was extremely simple and our host answered any questions we had very quickly. We stopped and grabbed groceries before going to the cottage. This was suggested by our host and I really appreciated it since the closest grocery store is in town about 30 mi minutes away. I highly recommend the Creekside Cottage and would definitely stay again.

Just a fabulous place to visit! We loved the creek, the fire pit, the fireplace, the cornhole boards…really everything! Wonderful location for nearby hiking excursions as well. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay!

Lovely cabin in a tranquil location

The house is the quintessential cabin - beautiful wood, very comfortable and on a picturesque brook. So peaceful there with great walking trails nearby.

Beautiful rustic home, sprawling property, plenty of amenities, and creekside access. Wonderful mountain-esque retreat with great communication with the host. Our family truely enjoyed our stay. Full disclosure, second bathroom was in a separate building with a washer/ dryer and TV, which my husband absolutely loved.

Summer retreat

What an excellent retreat this home is. We spent most of the time on the screen porch listening to the creek. It's a short hike to an amazing waterfall. The kids enjoyed splashing in the creek. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view & sound of the creek while sitting by the fire & on the porch. My dog Star & I enjoyed walking and sitting in the water at the sand bar. Great way to have evacuated from Hurricane Dorian on the SC coast!! Thanks to a wonderful host Melanie!!

Love it!

This is our second stay at this cottage and we absolutely love it. Our favorite spots are either sitting sounds the campfire ring or sitting on the screened in porch. Either way, the sight and sound of the creek is very relaxing. There is plenty to do nearby (hiking, waterfalls, Lake Jocassee) or, relax and do nothing at all. We are looking forward to our next weekend away to this creek side cottage.

Peaceful

I can’t say enough about this property! Everything was just as the listing described but the photos don’t do it justice. The creek is so close to the house! We drove up to the parking area for Twin Falls which is very close and enjoyed the beauty of the falls. We relaxed in the creek for hours and enjoyed the screened in porch at night. All of the solar lights around the property are so pretty at night. Home was super clean and the creekside bedroom bed was super comfortable! Definitely will revisit in the fall!

Relaxed Enchanted Getaway

You haven't seen all the Beauty South Carolina has to offer till you stay here! What an incredible, relaxed vibes with endless beautiful sceneries starting with the cozy, comfy cottage which I absolutely loved the wilderness style decor and Bear decor. The property gives an enchanted feel with all the lush green scenery and steps away from the creek which the creek offers a relaxing sound when sleeping with the window open. The property offers so much for adults and children to enjoy, have fun or relax without having to leave. A bigger plus besides being pet friendly, is the short walk distance to the beautiful twin waterfalls and many more within short driving distance. I would 100% recommend this amazing getaway to couples, families or friends outings.

Amazing cottage

The house is amazing, has a very comfy feel The river right behind is so nice, so relaxing. Every effort is made to make the place feel like a home. Don't know if they did this on purpose, but the kitchen even had a junk drawer... Lol. If that was on purpose, it's genius, what home doesn't have a junk drawer with batteries and small tools? Will definitely be back to this property.

Girl's Weekend

Our group of 8 CrossFit women had an absolutely fabulous time at this cottage! It was PERFECT! The beds were comfy, the couches were comfy, plenty of space for us all to gather and eat. The sound of the creek in the morning was wonderful with our coffee, and such a cute porch! Enjoy laughing and having s'mores at the firepit. Best Romantic Birthday Weekend

My husband planned the best weekend for us, the location next to the creek is so incredibly peaceful. We walked to the nearby Twin Falls with a picnic to spend a couple hours, the hike is short-ish and the views are spectacular. We brought all of our food and only left once to visit Brevard. The cabin had all of the essentials, bed was comfortable and showers hot. This location is remote enough that we encountered exactly one other human during our stay ( on the trail), other than visiting Brevard. December is mild and it was a great visit, I already want to go back in the summer and play in the creek. This cabin is a gem! Thank you!!!!!!
