Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. "The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that.
House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead."

The location of the hotel is very central so we were able to go into different directions for a lot of the tourist attractions that we wanted to hit.
The area is safe and quiet and peaceful and right across from the imperial Palace.

The pillows in many hotels in Japan feel like you are sleeping on padded bricks. I am not exaggerating, and I mentioned it to the gentleman in the front desk and he recommended that I wrap the padded bricks with bath towels.
