"My niece and I had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! His parents, Lisa and Normano, made us feel like old friends and the grounds are beautiful, full of fruits and flowers! The drive up the mountain was a little tight at some points so it's not for the faint of heart but well worth it. The 2-story house is perfect for a family or friend group. There are spaces to have some alone time (inside and outside) as well as a large kitchen to cook and eat together. It's about an hour drive and 10 toll to Florence and a little less to Lucca. We drove each day and then came back in the afternoons to spend time in nature. There's an Esselunga supermarket at the bottom of the mountain where you can stock up before you head up. I'm looking forward to visiting again!"

"Amazing place. Beaufiful location on the hill above Lukka. Great contact with the owner. Very authentic place. House was very comfortable for 9 people. The only small minus was the fact that you have to use the car all the time and the road is bit difficult. But the view is a great reward. "

"Check In war okay. Schlüssel befand sich wie mitgeteilt am Ort. Alles in allem war es dort schön. Schöner Pool. Kids hatten Freude. Küche bräuchte dringend eine Grundreinigung. Abzugshaube eklig. Gegend sehr abgelegen und ziemlich weit weg zur Hauptstraße. Info über die Mülltrennung wäre noch gut gewesen. Müll von Vorgänger war bis zur unserer Abreise nicht abgeholt worden. "

"A beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location. The house was clean, tidy and well equipped with comfortable beds and ample space to sit both inside and out for dining and relaxing. The views are quite spectacular and waking every morning to open the shutters to this was breathtaking. The metato was superb and made a great space for my sister and her family to stay in, containing separate bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities. 7 of us stayed very comfortably within the main house and 3 in the metato with room for another. The pool area was especially relaxing, with a good sized clean pool, a table chairs and sun loungers. Most importantly, there were sun umbrellas and plenty of shade in all the seating areas. Plenty of board games and books are provided and the sitting room is a perfect space for all sitting together. The local Spar provides most of the basics and is around an 8 minute drive away.We cannot recommend this property enough, Mike was brilliant at communicating and sent us all the information we needed for a very smooth stay. We were all very impressed and sad to leave this little piece of Tuscan heaven."

"The host Patrizia is lovely, really helpful. Comfortable and spacious house which is well equipped and with characterful designer furnishings and lighting etc. Though quite pleased to find a modern more traditional sofa than the seating cubes shown on the website photos. Excellent wifi in the house, though it didn't reach to the pool (not a bad thing!). Good aircon which managed to keep the 35C heat at bay. Be prepared for a couple of kilometers single track road with few passing places to get to the property. It's a quiet road though and we only met a couple of cars when leaving on the last day. Recommend visiting the small hilltop town Coreglia Antelminelli, and we had a lovely visit to the Orto Botanico in the Apuan Alps, amazing views of mountains made of carrara marble, and guided tours of the wild flowers just 5 euros each."
