“We’ve used Hotels.com for years and have always had good experiences — until now. This particular booking was deeply disappointing. The apartment was nothing like the listing described, and certainly not worthy of the 5-star rating shown on the site. It was damp, smelled musty, and there were visible signs of moisture damage — possibly even mold.
We tried to contact both the property and Hotels.com during the stay. The property never responded, and despite our detailed complaint, Hotels.com……
