Anaheim Ducks Ticket Information

Named after Disney’s hockey-themed Mighty Ducks, Anaheim’s home team has seen a great deal of success in their 25-year history, including 6 division titles, 2 conference championships, and 1 Stanley Cup victory. The Ducks, as they’re currently known, are skating their way into another NHL Playoffs thanks to stellar play from team captain Ryan Getzlaf. If you want to see an intense rivalry heat up the ice, grab an affordable ticket to see the Ducks play against the Los Angeles Kings in the “Freeway Face-Off.” Or you can always pick up a ticket for any number of other games at the Honda Center.

Fairy Tale History

In 1993, Disney founded the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and the team slowly built a successful franchise with the help of stars like Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne. In 2003, Kariya captained the team to their first Stanley Cup series, which they ended up losing in 7 games. But then came the 2006–07 season when the Mighty Ducks simplified their name and everything changed. The Ducks traded for defenseman Chris Pronger who joined a team that already featured a world-class line, including Rob Niedermayer, Samuel Pahlsson, and Travis Moen. Despite a turbulent playoff run that included a couple Pronger suspensions, the Ducks beat the Ottawa Senators in 5 games to take the Stanley Cup. Since then, the team has had some ups and downs, but they have won the Pacific Division title each of the past 5 seasons, and they are aiming to do it again this year.

Today’s Ducks

The Ducks will again host all 31 NHL opponents at Honda Center as part of their 2022-23 home schedule. The club will play 26 games within the Pacific Division, 24 games versus Central Division opponents and 32 against the Eastern Conference. Highlights of Ducks' season include Anaheim's day-after Thanksgiving game vs. the Ottawa Senators (Nov. 25), along with appearances from the Toronto Maple Leafs (Oct. 30), Detroit Red Wings (Nov. 15), New York Rangers (Nov. 23), Boston Bruins (Jan. 8), Pittsburgh Penguins (Feb. 10), Montreal Canadiens (Mar. 3). This will be the first full season for the Ducks under general manager Pat Verbeek. This will also be the first season without longtime captain Ryan Getzlaf as he retired at the end of the 2021–22 season. The 2022–23 Anaheim Ducks season will be the 30th season for the National Hockey League franchise that was established on June 15, 1993.
