Since first being thrust into the spotlight in 2005, Jason Aldean has gone on to become one of the biggest names in today’s country music. Still under the independent label that signed him during his early days in Nashville, Aldean has released 7 studio albums, with another, Rearview Town, set to drop in 2018. Off these records, 19 singles have reached no. 1 on either the Hot Country or Country Airplay charts, including “Big Green Tractor,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Kelly Clarkson, and “The Only Way I Know” with Luke Bryan and Eric Church. On top of going platinum multiple times over, Aldean has earned numerous awards, from the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist in 2005 to Entertainer of the Year in 2017. With all of his success, it’s no surprise that Jason Aldean in concert is a tough ticket country fans die for.
First learning how to play guitar from his dad, Jason Aldean cites George Strait, Hank Williams Jr., Alabama, and Garth Brooks as performers who influenced him while he was young. By 14, he was set on making it big and began performing at talent contests, local fairs, and small festivals. He moved to Nashville at the age of 21, but struggled to find his footing in his first few years. He signed with 2 labels and was quickly dropped from both before finally landing a deal with Broken Bow Records—the label that he continues to record with to this day. The rest, as they say, is country music history. His self-titled debut album was released in 2005 and he soon began touring with the likes of Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, and Tim McGraw. By 2008, he was headlining his own tours alongside Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and Georgia Florida Line. Aldean’s 2018 tour with Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina is one of the hottest tickets this year, so get yours today before they’re gone.
