Since bursting onto the music scene in 2012, Thomas Rhett has become one of the brightest new stars of today’s country music. He has since released 3 studio albums, featuring playful numbers such as “It Goes Like This,” “Get Me Some of That,” and “Make Me Wanna”—all of which reached the top spot on the Country Airplay chart. The hit single “Die a Happy Man” earned Rhett Song of the Year at the 2016 Country Music Association Awards, and he later went on to win back-to-back Country Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. As he continues to gain new fans each and every day, it’s no surprise that Thomas Rhett in concert is one of the hottest tickets in town.
Son of country singer Rhett Akins, Thomas Rhett learned how to play the drums as a teenager and would often join his father on stage. After high school, he attended college but dropped out 2 years later to pursue a career in music fulltime. He began playing clubs around Nashville and soon secured a publishing deal to write songs for stars like Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line. By 2012, he released his own debut single, “Something to Do with My Hands,” and by October of the next year, the album It Goes Like This was released to positive critical reviews. He has since put out 2 more albums, Tangled Up and Life Changes, and has toured around the country with the likes of Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, and Brett Eldredge. In 2018, get tickets to see the charming star on the Life Changes Tour alongside other fresh talent such as Brett Young, Russell Dickerson, and Carly Pearce.
