Staff are always so pleasant. The restaurant is great & they always try ti accommodate you to check in earlier if the rooms are ready. Rooms are a good size and have refrigerators. We love this hotel!!!

Fantastic welcoming hotel
Very good hotel. Rooms were spacious, modern and very comfortable with aircon and the bathrooms are amazing. Staff were brilliant and very friendly. The hotel is modern and equipped to a very high standard. Its in a nice location and is a must for WW2 buffs due to the part it palyed in the war. The food is very good and well priced

The new owner has been in place for about two years -- during the pandemic -- and has used the time to improve everything. The staff is excellent. Very nice dining rooms and lounge. Easy access to everything in town and to the university. It's the best place in Wageningen to stay.

Perfect and unique!
After being in many nice, comfortable “chain” hotels, the hotel de wereld was a very nice surprise. It’s so very unique! Which sets it apart in our opinion. Their vision is to create each guest room in honor of a person who has contributed to the cause of freedom. We were in room 107, dedicated to Ingrid Lindgren of “Pippi Longstocking” fame. Such a whimsical room, with a real swing and reminders of the book and shows everywhere! We didn’t see any other rooms but ours was just the best. Beyond the decor, though, the service, friendliness, excellent-English-speaking team members, breakfast (huge and excellent!) and location are just top-notch. Very highly recommend this hotel!

BEST HOTEL IN NETHERLANDS
I stay here a bit when i travel to Wag for work. Couldn't recommend this hotel more. Staff are awesome, rooms are nice and very comfortable.Hotel has a good vibe and feel to it. Don't stay anywhere else apart from here. Cheers, Richard (Australia)

Location was ideal to many stores. Within a 5 minute walk to the bus station. A 5 minute walk to many great resturants enev though their own resturant was great.

Everyone at this hotel has been amazing. Very friendly and helpful about the hotel history, which is why we wanted to stay here. Also, very helpful and knowledgeable about the city. I asked if it was Asparagus time and the chefs made a special dinner with Asparagus for us. The restaurant is great. We want to stay here again soon.

Lovely room and very friendly staff. The room we had was very spacious, clean and well-equipped with a kettle and coffee maker. The sense of history attached to the hotel has been preserved downstairs in the wood-panelled lounge and bar. The location is in the centre of town - close to the shops and within a short drive of many WWII sites. All-in-all, a delightful stay.

A lovely hotel with excellent service and very good rooms. I arrived very late and there were no food places open in Wageningen but the woman on the front desk made sure I had some food. So good, I'm returning to the same hotel next week with colleagues.

An excellent stay again at Hotel de Werald for business trip. Superb restaurant and excellent breakfast Room was modern, spacious and extremely clean. I will be visiting Wageningen next Spring on business and will be staying here again

Lovely place great food needs to be cleaner
Check was easy and friendly. The delix double room was lovely spacious and well decorated w coffee machine and fridge. The bed was big and the linen clean. The bathroom stunk of urine and despite telling the staff this was not fixed. The walls are thin and there was workmen outside my windows loudly chatting at 8am. Breakfast was great and plentiful. I had a hot choc which was dangerously hot and I’m still missing the tastebuds from my tounge. That being said ... this is a quaint historic traditional Dutch hotel and it is super cute. Just avoid room 106 it stinks and there’s a weird wet patch in front of the shower

We had a great experience staying in the historic Hotel de Wereld. The staff were extremely friendly and the location was great with lots of restaurants and shops near by. Our room and bathroom were both spacious.

Beautiful hotel in the centre
The hotel is beautiful, it is in a great position and has an excellent restaurant. Rooms are very big, very comfortable and flawlessly clean. Staff is very professional and helpful. only problem was that the position on the street made the room a bit noisy, with windows open.
