SIR IT A MACHINE IT TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO COOL DOWN. YOU WAS IN RUSH LIKE YOU GET COOL AS SOON YOU GO IN THE ROOM THAN. THAT IS NOT OUR CALL TO DO THAT. ITS GUESTS CALL. THE GUEST TURN ON THE AC IN THEIR ROOM WE CAN'T. WE DON'T KNOW WHO LIKES COLD OR HOT. ITS NATURAL SIR IF IT'S HOT OUTSIDE ITS WILL BE HOT BUT ITS WILL COOL DOWN YOU HAVE TO WAIT. THAT IS THE REASON AC IS THERE BUT ITS MACHINE TOO. BE PATIENT IT WILL BE COLD BUT YOU CAN'T JUST COME IN THE OFFICE IN LESS THAN 5 MIN MY AC DONT WORK. THAN YOU TELL MY STAFF THAT LOOK I STILL SWAT. The people that work there are excellent. They go out of their way to accomodate you. Check in and out was super fast and easy. They have a cute little covered grilling area that Ithought was pretty cool. The rooms are a little dusty and the air conditioning took forwver to cool the rooms down. They should probably turn the air on when they know a room is reserved. Overall a good basic motel with great customer service.

Air conditioner struggled to cool. Mold on shower curtain. My white socks were black on the bottom from walking on the carpet and the breakfast was pitiful . Generic cosmic brownies, nutty Buddies are not breakfast. Loaf of bread with no tongs and the cereal looked old and needed to be upgraded to be generic.

A lot to be desired
Definitely wouldn't stay here again. If you stay here check the room out before you sign. Also bring your own snack cakes for your continental breakfast. That's all they serve.

Checked into one room and it had bugs. Moved to another room and in the morning found a bug in the bed! There was long dark hairs in the bathtub and neither of us have dark hair or long! Corners of the floors were dirty and lots of dust on the mop boards. We tried to get our money back and go to another motel but they said being it was a 3rd party booking, they couldn't do it. Most likely will NEVER stay at an Econo Lodge again!

Thankfully, we only stayed one night. The facility is run down. Placed a $50 additional fee on our credit card and only gave $40 back. When I called to question, he told me the housekeeper said a washcloth was damaged; really? The linens are thread bare. We use facecloths so nothing gets on any cloths or towels. They have still not refunded the additional money. We will NEVER stay at an Econo Lodge again; even when traveling and only needing lodging for one night.

I pre-paid my one night stay. At check in my card was charged an extra $20 for "possible expenses" to be refunded at check out. I asked the refund at checkout, the answer was "it will be refunded" but I got no refund at all in my card. This is unacceptable.

It was absolutely terrible. Woke up with bites. Bed bugs was the only conclusion we could come to. I’m not sure anything was cleaned. There was a razor cap in the tub, two threadbare, stained (I hope stained, and not dirty) towels and wash cloths for 4 people. All linens were dirty, stained, stinky. Floor was sticky. Trash and a toenail behind the nightstand. Pretty sure they were dealing drugs out of a room above us. Constant coming and going, up and down stairs, doors opening and closing all night long. Turns out Jasper, AL has one of the highest crime rates in the nation. We were stopping over on our way to somewhere else, and this was the only available room. By the time we figured all of this out, the only option would have been the car. We were tired, and not normally hard to please people, so we stayed positive, but just kept discovering negative things. My husband slept with his gun ready. We left as soon as the sun came up. We were definitely not going to eat the “free breakfast.” We will never use Expedia again and will never stay at another Econolodge.

I am so sorry for that like based on your massage I did everything that include I personally have look at the camera from that night based on your request. with the towels you should ask that you need this many number of towel I wouldn't mind to give you that. my housekeeper did not find any kind of bug Mrs. Health department came last week to renew the license same as pest control no one found anything. I am sorry for that I hope when you come next time we make it batter than your exception so give us the one chance and we will improve it in feature.

Comfortable stay with very few problems.
My stay was very comfortable. The room was really nice although the carpet had a slight odor. I did have a couple of items in the room to disinfect. After being out for the day, I returned to find my items used. It was only paper towels and I was checking out that following morning. Overall the stay was good.
