Not quite what i expected but the villas were beautiful and clean. I was a bit disappointed with some of the hotel descriptions, coffee in room is 3 little instant coffee pouches and dried up coffemate that wouldn't desolve. We also had messaged ahead for a villa not too far as my husband has mobility issues, but ended up furthest away even though resort was very quiet and seemed half empty. Hotel also says beach chairs, however the beach club that is walkable to is not included. So we drove to Bikini beach club, (disaster) but Esmeralda Hotel guests arent allowed in the first row of beach chairs even if there is over 30 empty. Breakfast included is bread, pastries and fruit. Its not really beach front, its quite a walk to get ro any beach club or restaurant except for the one on the property. Not sure i would recommend this hotel, as we also stayed in Philipsburg and Grande Case which were definitely 5 star experiences.

Thank you for your comments.We are sorry to hear about your disappointment.We have a partnership with 4 beach restaurants where you can have complimentary chairs and umbrellas (KKO, Wai plages, Bikini and Kontiki) There are all at a walking distance. The closest one is KKO just down our foot path.The property is in a large garden so some of our rooms are a little bit further from the beach. We always try to satisfy our guests with their specific requests but it is also depending on our availbility.

This is our third stay at the Esmeralda . It is very close to the beautiful Orient beach. It is safe, quiet, and relaxing. The staff is wonderful. Their restaurant Astroble is amazing. We had a wonderful time.

The resort is very nice but they have problems with water supply. It was out over every night which was ok but two mornings we could not use the shower.

This was our 4th time at this property. We love it. It was absolutely perfect for us - we love the individual pools per cottage. The Cocoa Beach was still not open, which was a bit sad, but the adjacent beaches were perfectly accommodating, walkable, and made it no problem. I look forward to what is coming at Cocoa Beach. We will be back!

Terrible sewage smell
We stayed in unit 522 for a week and had to put up with a terrible sewage smell all week. We reported the issue on day 1, and they sent maintenance to pour bleach down the bathtub drain, the smell kept coming up. Made our stay pretty miserable - and all we heard was that they did everything they could to fix the issue (pouring bleach was the only thing, and that’s not how you fix sewage problems).

The location is great - walk to the beach, shops, restaurant. Astrolabe has good breakfast and good dining option. It's a quite intimate place to eat. We loved it. The hotel is in a quiet area. The rooms are connecting and not sound proof so we heard the people in the adjacent room talking laughing, going to the bathroom, etc....Depending on the neighbors, sleep was so-so.

We loved our stay at Esmeralda Resort! This property is the perfect mix of everything you want in an Airbnb (privacy, spacious rooms including a kitchenette with minifridge and silverware) but combined with the services you want from a hotel (daily housekeeping, fresh beach towels everyday, front desk staff for recommendations/help, and breakfast onsite included).Its a very short walk to Orient bay Beach, next to the best full service beach bar, Coco Beach. Location and property can't be beat!

Loved the private pool! The restaurant was also great, both the included breakfast and the lobster dinner on Friday night. It is quiet, relaxing and within walking distance down the beach to several good restaurants. I would go again in a heartbeat!
