Super aged building. Lots of issues with toilet, sink & shower. AC blew cold consistency. Breakfast was missing lots of traditional options. This was definitely NOT a 3 Star location. With the renovations going on, this is closer to a 1 star. There was no cleaning service during our 2 day stay, and only 3 towels, though we paid for 4 persons. Definitely will think twice before booking with Wingate again.

They are in the middle of renovating the property and it wasn’t the cleanest. But the desk clerk was very nice and explained and even gave directions for places I needed to visit.

Room dirty and old. Fabric on chair in room cracked and worn. Noisy in hallway late at night. Major construction has part of 1st floor closed off. We arrived an hour early before checkin time needing to use the bathroom. Was told that the lobby bathrooms were out of service, but we could pay $50 to check in early to use our room bathroom. We went to a gas station nearby. Breakfast was spartan. Had to ask for knife and a bowl for cereal. Decaf coffee was in another place and cold/not enough for a full cup. No splenda only sugar and saccharin. No fat free milk or fat free yogurt.

I did not like the property. It was not as safe as I expected. There was a shooting outside the hotel. The water tank burst and I was without water for several days. I was supposed to get compensation but I have not seen it nor have I heard from the property about it. Very poor service, I will never stay at this hotel chain again.

Employees were friendly, location worked for my purposes. Location is very noisy, right by the interstate. Breakfast options were somewhat limited, frequently running out of coffee.

Room wasn't cleaned very well ,gum stuck in carpet,loud music next room ,and party going on till 3:30 am.only got about 3hr sleep! Checked in at 5am left at 6:30. No number near phone to call front desk!

Under construction. Banging lasted until after 10p. Motorcycles revving their engines all hours of the night. People screaming and fighting in the parking lot at 2am. Elevator takes forever. Super ghetto for $300/night.

The property had a flood and has drying fans running constantly .. but even still, many of the key pads do not work, the staircases are disgustingly dirty and smelly, the hot tub did not work, and the breakfast was extremely limited. Hot water, but no tea or hot chocolate or oatmeal... what is the point of the hot water?? Bagels but nothing to put on them. Cereal bins were empty and never refilled while the staff cleaned around them... only apples, no other fruit. Only cow milk, no dairy free choices or gluten free choices other than scrambled eggs. The staff were very friendly and they did try to keep things clean, overall the property needs repair and updating.

Do not stay here, it had scuffs on all the elevator walls . It smelled from a water leak that was a week before and was not notified of this . The cleaning staff did not take our dirty towels and leave clean one!

There was a dirty sock in the room and someone’s leftovers in the fridge. Could hear the next door neighbors and dogs barking down the hall. Bathroom ceiling had stains, possibly mold throughout the bathroom/room, the curtains in the room had stains as well. The hotel had a weird smell throughout. They should also add more of a variety to the breakfast items. The attendants were fine though. It definitely needs upgrades.

Outside condition of the building was good, but inside was in disrepair. Shower fixture was detached from the wall, water was a trickle of barely warm water. After three days backpacking I was hoping for a decent shower. Soap was so cheap that it did not generate any suds. Corner molding in the room was peeling off at various spots. Windows were fogged up. The heating system worked randomly. The breakfast at 8 did not have any sausage or eggs. When I mentioned it, the sausages were brought, but eggs never made it. I know this is a cheap hotel and they used to cost a third of the price just few years ago. They are no longer cheap and some basic services should be included.

Front desk attendant was rarely at the front desk. I waited 15 minutes for someone to show up to check me in. The building is rundown and in disrepair. There was a large area where the wall had been spackled right in front of the elevator on the second floor that had never been repainted. Room doors were broken and propped open with clothes hangers. The cleaners did not clean my room, even after I asked them to. I had to get my own towels and was told to put the dirty towels in the hallway. Even the coffee was mediocre.

First of all the hotel is in need of an upgrade. The breakfast was missing things like, Cream for coffee and cream cheese for bagels, the options were very limited. The rooms were dingy and the bathtub area, was okay but could see some build up of soap scum and dirt. Also the Remote did not let us change channels. The back was duck taped to keep the batteries in We asked the front desk what was the trick, they told us we have to click ok.. We explained we had done that but we could not enter a channel number, or move up or down on the channels with the options on the remote. We literally were stuck watching the weather channel. The staff was GREAT! They were kind and tried to be helpful,

Property looked beautiful, but our room had to be deodorized when we left for dinner the first night as it smelled like dog urine. We asked for a different room but all were booked. Smell never really went away. But room was quiet which was nice. Every 12 hours or so our door keys wouldn’t work anymore so we’d have to go back to the front desk and have them reactivated (3x total- so 4 times keys were set by front desk). This also happened with our friends. There was no real pool furniture- only a couple chairs. Staff was kind. I do miss daily housekeeping. Hotel was centrally located- but I don’t think I’ll stay there again

The property was very run down and very unclean. The hot tub did not work. The room smelled very bad and there were blood stains on the curtain and a poop stain on the sheets. Would not recommend or stay here again

There was no working pool or hot tub as promised when reserved and there were multiple breakfast options “ not available” we want a refunds and the hotel already said they would approve it because of how terrible our stay was
