It’s a very nice and very convenient to Santa Monica Pier which is 12 mins away. Train is right next door to take as well. Great value and breakfast too

Definitely needs updated. Worst thing was sitting on the toilet and repeatedly smashing my elbow on the toilet paper holder and my knee on the other side kept hitting the vanity. I paid $11 to be able to park my car in basically an alley way where I had to worry about my car being hit by another car parking because the spots are to small and at very odd angles. Oh and the 80s carpet everywhere was a very nice touch. I assure i will never be staying here again.

Hotel has been charging for parking for 10 years now and it's posted in our website and also in all third party booking engines like Expedia. We are sorry that you missed it. Regarding cleaning the room, most hotels give maid service upon request only wherein ours is better since we do it every other day. Thank you for staying with us.

Extremely low water pressure in the shower (which we understand given California drought regardless of good rain this year). Water temperature was hard to adjust with extremes of hot/cold. I think this is an easy fix. We had to do it in our own home. Room 311.

Room was great with a separate room with a TV and terrace. Fred, the manager, is very accommodating. We stayed there before and will stay there again. It is convenient to UCLA, Santa Monica, shopping and restaurants.

Truly the hotel is just a stone throw away from the metro stop and the train will lead passengers either to Santa Monica pier heading west and to the heart of down LA heading east. We hope to see you again soon.

Great staff…there was an issue with water leaking in our room from the floor above last night. Staff were quick to respond to the issue and fix it. We were unable to move due to hotel being fully occupied but they compensated us for the inconvenience. We will be staying there again the next time we are in LA.

The Staff is very welcoming, polite, helpful, and patient. We were always greeted with a smile. The rooms are great with comfy beds. Parking is a bit of a hassle. I recommend parking on the street. We would definitely book again if we are in the area.

The room was great, had a separate living area with a t.v. What was bad was the mini split heater/ac was in the living room area and none of the heat went into the bedroom area. The bedroom area was always cold. The breakfast was limit not much room for complete items.

The front desk staff has always been outstanding. This time it was Kevin who was very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. It's important to know that bedding and towels only get changed every other day during a longer visit, and you should ask for trash to be taken out every day.

The hotel is definitely showing its age. It has been maintained but has dated look. The neighbourhood has a lot of homeless living near the hotel. The bathroom was very small

Overall it's okay. The room we stayed was for 6, but the bathroom is too tight. My husband and I only stayed for 1 night, but couldn't imagine staying for longer with more people. The beds are comfortable though. The area is nice.

The front desck representative, I bealive named Kavin, was very rude and condescending answering questions. He would coment like, you are wasting my time or what a dumb question to ask. He was not even busy privately chatting with someone. Even business would not be an excuse this rude behavior. Parking was not free ,not as advertised.

Mom who recently turned 80, still active and cool wanted to just do a New Year's weekend without the noise of gunshots or fireworks of L.A. BW was awesomely quiet and peaceful as we brought in 2024! Convenient location
We were greeted warmly and helped expediently by the front desk staff Kevin and Fred. Kevin asked for my membership number because I didn't entered it when booking on hotel.com. Upon finding out my elite level, he waived my parking fee. The property is older like other guests observed. Therefore our room was smaller with sitting area (perfect for work out reading without bothering sleepers) partitioned off. The bath room is small but there are 2 closets and a small balcony. The beds are soft.

Great spot to rest and recharge!
Came in for a last-minute one night stay for work and Fred at the front helped me out with parking and was very accommodating with my time frame -- Even gave me an upgrade to a suite! Building itself is a bit outdated, but they were actively doing some renovation when I stayed. Very clean, comfortable room.

Faulty alarm
The room and amenities were good. The smoke alarm went off when we were sleeping. Apparently the battery was dying. They came quickly but unable to correct. They disconnected the alarm and it stopped alarming.
