Beautiful hotel inside and out. Easy check in, room was large, warm and the bed was very comfortable. Very clean and the staff were very well dressed and very helpful. We will be booking The Cedar Court Hotel again for our next trip. Food was excellent.

Lovely hotel, close to Harrogate station, shops, cinema and open spaces. Modern decor to suit most styles, neutral enough for some and colourful enough for others. Staff all excellent, friendly and helpful, quick to act on requests. Breakfast options very good, though hot food not kept hot enough over the breakfast open time. Dinning area very elegant and comfortable. Bedroom Room very nice, good size and lovely shower which was easy to operate. The single beds seemed narrower than usual ones and a little hard for my preference. Would definitely consider staying here qgain.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here in the last month. The first time was excellent. This time wasn’t as good. Nobody on reception when I arrived it took 20 minutes for a receptionist to return. We ordered a meal room service it arrived uncovered and cold after 45 minutes. No condiments on tray. It would have been a lively meal had it not been cold. Shame standards seem to be dipping.

I have stayed four times at Cedar court, and have enjoyed every one of them. It's the staff (although they seem to be different each time apart from Anne ,so it's great to catch up with her) they are always polite and welcoming. I also like to sit in the lounge and relax if I don't feel like going out.

Lovely staff and helpful. Modern room. My only negative is not a good light at the dressing table in front of the mirror. Not everyone wants to or can stand in front of the bathroom mirror. Plus if you’re sharing. The other person might be in the shower or toilet. Like the lamps in the room. Plugs at the bedside tables too would be an improvement

The hotel is lovely, very quiet, breakfast was nice lots of choices. it is a 20 minute walk to town, the only thing that lets the hotel down is you have to climb in the bath to have a shower

Large, pleasant room with king size bed sold as single. Great bathroom, shower, towels and WiFi. Heating just about adequate although the weather was exceptionally cold. Somewhat perfunctory reception service upon arrival and departure. Overall I felt I'd had my money's worth.

Service cleaniness and hotel was top class but breakfast at £15.00 per head was a bit pricey food was only warm and plates cold so if we stayed again would definitely give breakfasts a miss

Perfect hotel lovely location
This was by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in the staff were so friendly nothing to much trouble. The hotel itself is clean fresh and in a lovely setting would definatly stay here again. The services were great we ate in the restaurant the food was lovely. The rooms were modern well equipped and spacious. What more can I say everything was perfect. Also parking on site for a small fee which was also handy as it’s only a short walk to the town from the hotel so no worries about having to find parking in the town.

The hotel was lovely but a bit dated, needs money spent on upgrading in my opinion. Clean could be better in the rooms. Staff were very nice and friendly. We thought the breakfast was expensive at £12 a head considering it was luke warm, wasn't at all impressed by that.

We booked here last minute as attending a wedding at Rudding Park and couldn't take our caravan due to high winds. We were able to check in very early and get the car parked up before getting a taxi to the venue for 12pm. Everything went so smoothly. Only slight negative was the very loud extractor fan which went on for ages after turning out the light.

Think the days if this being 4 star are over
Not sure why this is rated as 4 star. The rooms are ok but the bathrooms are quite dated and feel shabby and therefore not particularly clean or hygienic. Believe the lack of formal reception desk is a step too far and not appropriate for the over all look of this hotel - it is not a boutique hotel which is where this idea of reception belongs.

Harrogate weekend
First time I have stayed here but I have stayed in Harrogate quite often we booked a sweet it was very nice room the welcome pack was amazing the only thing that it was lacking is a fridge. A wedding was on the weekend we stayed but because of the size of the place we did not feel as we were push aside as we have in other hotels we have booked that have weddings on. We did not have any meals as we had other plans. It's not far to the town centre but we used the bus that stopped round the corner as we are older and saved our legs a bit.
