Receptionists were all very kind and helpful, bed and towels were clean and comfortable, free parking very convenient, huge refurbishment of hotel needed! very dated and breakfast was very basic , no bakery at all.

I felt quite uncomfortable in this hotel and as if I was the only person staying there. I think it is more a conference hotel. Access via dilapidated doors to the rooms with no security. The rooms have old fashioned brown furniture in need of updating, but on the plus side it was very clean and very quiet as my room looked out onto the parking area rather than the road.

This has been an ideal place for a retreat, quiet place time to reflect upon my work and I have enjoyed their special English-full breakfast delicious food.

Friendly staff to check me in and make the breakfast in the morning. Buildings looked like converted council flats. The elevator had a nasty musty smell to it that I never got used to. The room was adequate enough though there was only two towels with the bath one not much bigger than the hand towel. The door would not close unless you almost wrecked the toilet seat to do it. The area was within walking distance of shops or places to eat. The bed was the best part of the stay and afforded me a good night's rest. Breakfast consisted of mediocre ingredients but was well cooked although there was no juice on hand or napkins with the cutlery. Overall it was quite obvious that whoever owned the hotel was more interested in counting the costs of operation rather than the quality of the stay. If the latter was more of a priority then I would expect to see more people dining as a result of staying there.

I don't recommend a stay here. If i had read all the reviews before booking we wouldn't have booked. Definitely a motel not a hotel and really in need of a refurbishment. Last minute booking for us for a 1 night stay and like previous reviews only positive was bedding and towels were clean but room shabby and lots of repairs to be done.

Door banging overnight, room door no lock, superior room with stains on carpet no blind in bathroom, wires hanging off heater rail, very old mattress on bed and to top it all off the sink in the bathroom was not even attached or fixed to the basing unit. Not impressed. Checkout had to wait even though checked out early as nobody was at reception apart from a lady busy on the pc while others waited to check in/out or having breakfast and a member of the team smoking outside.

Forget Executive.
I was on a personal trip rather than my usual business so decided to treat myself to a little luxury. With this in mind I ignored the standard, shunned the premium & the superior rooms and decided it would be the luxury of an executive room for me. The guy on reception was great and was really helpful and chatty throughout my stay. However the room was nothing like the executive experience I was expecting. It was only just adequate and the most basis room I had stayed in for a long time. Several of the fixtures needed attention and I'm sure if the hotel inspector visited she would have something to say. However it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking was free and easy.

Our suite was brilliant, very quite and warm. Great location Beefeater across the road, about 10 minute drive to bullring which costs about £10.00. Would definitely stay here again.

The most terrible hotel I have ever been to. My family would not even stay there it was so bad. They would not give us a refund. The area is unsafe and the hotel is trashed. Do not book this hotel. It should not even be available on Expedia’s site.

Truly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
Truly an atrocious 'hotel'. I'm not sure it started out as a hotel—I think it may have been two blocks of temporary accommodation where the rooms were accessed outdoors with outdoor 'balcony corridors' if that makes sense. The decor was straight from 1981, the bedroom had a strong and odd off-putting smell, the food was awful, coffee was instant, etc. etc. It was *nothing* like the room in the image. The strobe light in the reception / bar / breakfast room (all one room) was broken and flickered constantly. And it cost over £160pn...awful value.

The first impression of the hotel itself is that it looked like block of houses, but the reception area was pleasant and the receptionist "Arian"was very nice and helpful. The room was spacious. The breakfast was plentiful Now for the bad parts All three of us only sleep with a duvet cover on (no duvet). The duvets all had stains on them. The bathroom/shower room the bath panel was coming off

My room was next to the heating system, very noisy all night and very, very warm, had to sleep naked and without any covering and the window open and still sweating. Getting to the room was quite a trek, up a lift two stories, along a corridor through I think five fire doors and then up a flight of stairs and another corridor. Many of the rooms open onto the open air a bit like a block of council flats. Overall the room was well appointed so pity I got such a crap user experience.
