It’s a wonderful location with harbor view. There are things to be improved. The Wi-Fi service was not working but the staff refused to acknowledge that. It was not due to heavy traffic because there was no signal even at 3am. And the shower doors are designated such that you always flood the bathroom when you get out of the shower

close to everything... hotel is on a hill so be prepared to walk up and down the hill....Nice rooms and breakfast was really good... big European breakfast. Have to pay for parking in the garage...

This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of Alesund. It is just steps from the main street. The bus from the Alesund Vigra airport can drop you off 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel. It is also only about 7-8 minutes on foot to the cruise terminal (incl. the Geiranger fjord ferry). The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is generous and tasty. There are options to buy snacks and amenities you may have forgotten (razors, chargers, etc.) at the reception 24 hrs a day. Some of the rooms have lovely views overlooking the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and nice hotel room, with a nice view to the ocean. Welcoming and nice staff. Breakfast tasted good with a wide variety of things to choose from. The price was a bit steep, especially seeing as parking was not included. One day cost us 250NOK in parking.

We have stayed in suite. Very nice view and big enough but it needs to have a better standart for suit. We even did not have cafe machine and water cooker.

Amazing food for breakfast and stsff are so nice. Banquit manager gave my girl and i a private tour of the lookout area when it was closed and storys of the locals. Just a clean and super friendly place

Central place in Alesund
This was a good place to stay in Ålesund. It was central and you could walk to any site you wanted. One downer was difficult or expensive parking - even more expensive for us as we got a parking fine. (Beware temporary changes in parking regulations due to road works). Reception staff were friendly and helpful but the dining room staff were less so. The actual breakfast was delicious though.

Nice and clean room with comfortable beds. Our room was connected by a door to another and there was not much sound-proofing: a heavier or better-sealing door between rooms would have been appreciated. The breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal.

The location is great in the center of Alesund with grage parking and very good breakfast. I would recommend to stay in high floor facing the shore. It is beautiful. The room is standard with comfortable beds, I would give it three stars hotel, do not expect the bed sheet will be change during your stay. The door does not lock quickly and you have to wait for one to two minutes to hear the lock mechanism and the staff knows about it but it seems no one will fix it.

Room locks do not lock automatically before after two minutes to give you time to escape back into the room in case the corridor is not an escape option in case of fire. These rules apply in Norway. The hotel is at a very good location. We left town at midnight on the day of check out. They not only let us to store our luggage there, but also didn't mind that we were lingering in the lobby until our departure.
