That being said, I was not impressed by Cabana Motel. The sheets were dirty, the floor was cracked and dirty, the ceiling tiles were sagging and had water spots, the outlets were broken, and the smoke detector didn’t even have batteries in it. I stayed for 3 nights and each night I could hear something moving in the ceiling. Once it moved fast enough to shift a ceiling tile. The shower was very sensitive and the slightest adjustment would go from freezing to boiling. Anytime someone flushed the toilet from another room the shower went blazing hot. The property isn’t in great condition and the linens weren’t new (some stains), but it was functional for what we needed. The service though - exceptional. The owner, Anil, and Natasha went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival and early departure times. Incredibly kind people. The good things ended there. Between finding a hair claw/clip on the bed that wasn't mine, what appeared to be black mold on the walls in the bathroom, and the fact that we didn't have toilet paper or even a toilet paper HOLDER on the wall in the bathroom. I am never one to care where I stay when I just need somewhere to sleep, but even I cared this time. Nothing was overtly disgusting, but I still slept on top of the sheets with my beach towel as a blanket. Thankfully it was just one night.
