This was undoubtedly the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel property. First, I asked to pay in two installments so when I got to the date j would only pay half- they charged me the full amount; second, after driving 5 hours they are an hour and half behind on check ins; I wait by pool; then no towels, no hot water and no ice on property. The floors in the room were filthy- I cleaned them myself with the one bathmat they provided and Clorox Cleanup. I thought ok …I’ll head to the beach and saw lounge chairs there- only to find out they are $10/hr rentals doing was asked to move.. I work hard for a living and was really looking forward to a nice beach getaway. There was no food on property and finding breakfast was a challenge. Last but not least, the road in front of hotel was under construction full of rocks, potholes. The whole building was run down and dirty. The rates weren’t cheap either so overall..it was a “never again” experience.

The beachfront view was awesome. The road construction is a hot mess but not the hotels fault. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. Overall a great trip.

Hotel was not prepared for the spring break rush. we waited an hour after check in for our room to be ready. Even after waiting it was not very clean. They refused to give us more than two bath towels when we had booked for four people to stay. They did not provide a fully stocked kitchen as advertised. Overall just disappointing and gross.

Property was right on the beach and the room was comfortable. The rooms weren't ready for many guest including ourselves until 1hr and 45 min after check in due to being understaffed for cleaning crews. Our cards stopped working the morning we were leaving which made going to the beach early that morning not possible. the TV remote for the TV in the bedroom of the master suite was missing the whole time. The staff acted like all of this was our problem to deal with. the lobby bathrooms were not clean at all. The pool was under construction which was a hassle to go around for beach access and a let down that we paid the price for a hotel with a pool/hot tub and didn't have one that was usable.

The bath faucet ran continually. Floors were so dirty you couldn’t walk around the room without having black feet. The balcony door had to be dead bolt locked to shut. There was no sugar or creamer for the coffee. The pool and hot tub were out of commission completely. There should have been a discount for that. It should have been advertised as that too. Rooms were not ready until like 9pm and check in was 4! Really should have gotten some of a refund for that too! Sheets were damp. Toilet paper wasn’t changed. The lady at the front desk was so nice though. Both of them at night and morning. But definitely don’t judge a book by its cover because it looks a lot better than it is! Wasted money.

Our room had not been cleaned properly. it was missing several basic supplies. The room was "beat-up" and had not been upgraded. The two outside doors did not fit properly. When the wind blew at night it whistled in the room. The inside door was broken and would not close. The deck had not been cleaned in quite a while. Basically, this property needs a major upgrade!!!

When we checked in and got in our room, there was no hot water. No remote for the tv's. No linens for the pull out bed. There were wires hanging out of the wall where the smoke detectors were supposed to be. The pool looked like a swamp. If you walked barefoot on the carpet you were instantly black. It smelled horrible. One bed was completely broken. It was late so we stayed that night. Woke up the next morning and still no hot water until 11:30 when I checked out to go to another hotel. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They did not refund the first night, even though there was no hot water and all of the other issues. Do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel. There are plenty of other nice hotels for the same price to stay at in PCB.

I was upset when we got there and the pool and hot tub was down. I was not told this in advance. I booked here specifically for the “heated pool”. Also we were told our room would be ready at 3:30 and was not until 5:30.

The property didn’t have enough parking and you had to park across the street. However, the roads were under construction so you got your feet dirty just getting to your vehicle. The roads were all under construction. They stayed that they had a heated pool and spa however, it was out of order. The staff was very friendly and helpful l. Unable to use what we expected and that’s not the staff problem. That’s an owner problem. We could have booked somewhere with all amenities available.

I couldn't get any hot water in my room for the three days I was there. They said they always have issues with the water in the room I was in, as well as another. Then why rent them out until it's fixed? Pool and Hot tub were both out of commission, that would have been nice to have been notified of.

I called and asked for an early check in, which was not available, but they allowed us to leave our bags at the front desk which was helpful. However, when we went to check in at the normal check in time, there was not a room ready for us. We had to wait 45 minutes to get into our room. The pool and hot tub were also not in service and there was no prior knowledge of this. The people next to us were partying all night so we kept waking up. We were told that we could have a late check but housekeeping showed up at the normal check out time (and we’re obviously not made aware of this).

This was not a 5 star hotel. The rooms weren’t anything special. The staff was rude. They tried to charge my credit card 24 before arrival. They didn’t wait till I actually arrived. I am terribly disappointed.

Need a good cleaning even though it's old and inexpensive it can be cleaner. Key card stops working at 9:30am and check out at 10:00am make sure you leave door open when removing your bags from room back to transportation.

This was a horrible place. The room had black mold, a/c didn’t work, rust on bathroom door frame and stove. The mattress was worm to the point it was like sleeping on a box spring. Carpeting was filthy. None of the ice machines worked on the property. I was booked for three nights but left after one. I need a refund for the stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE...Gonna be a long review...when i went to check in there was several different people that came in with complaints ranging from no hot water,no clean towels,stove not working,heater not working which should have been enough to make me turn around but i went ahead because i had paid for the room through expedia then when it was my turn to check in they didnt have the room i booked so they gave me a king suite. When i got to the room the floors was dirty hair in the bathroom on the sink and in the tub, the heater in the sitting area did not work the water in the tub was barely luke warm and lets not even start on the bed it was hard you could feel the springs i think the floor would have been more comfortable. The couch in the rrom was hard. This is by far the worst experience i have ever had with a hotel the pool was nasty the bar wasnt open idk how you can yourself a resort. I dont usually leave reviews but please beware do not stay here

Stayed here before and loved it but my stay 1/6/24 wasnt the best. Room had black mold everywhere, tub didn't look pleasant, shower curtain was broke. Beds very uncomfortable, no remote for any of the tvs notified staff no one wver brung one to the room. Staff was friendly view waa beautiful thats the only plus.

Likes: Staff and the view from the balcony. Dislikes: The was in need for a total repair or replacement of furniture. (1) Need a new mattress and base. The mattress was not firmed and was slopping in the middle which led to uncomfortable sleeping. (2) The jacuzzi tub needed to be replaced due cracks in the tub. (3) In the bathroom first the toilet paper holder was broken and wasn’t professionally repaired. My opinion that whom ever attempted to repair it did not have the correct knowledge or skills for the job at hand. (4) The caulking around the sink was not professional done as well. (5) The main reason why most people go on vacation in a hotel visit. The SHOWER was not totally cleaned and appeared to use caulk to cover up the rust and mold in the corners in the shower glass frame. The lever for the turning on/off needed to replace instead of rigging it with a non fitting screw which caused the water flow settings to only be at the warm level and barely reaching a level to be able for use in taking a shower. (6) Lastly the floor was spotted which was in need of a deep cleaning on the floor tiles. After some research. The hotel was built in the late sixties. So you can put so much paint on top of paint for so long. Just for the location alone deserves a total overhaul and not just cover ups.

Had to plunge toliet, toliet kept ha ing issues. After told front desk to have maintanace come up - never showed up. Had to get addional bath towels & wash rags. They had liquid soap dispencers but no soap to fill Balcony had broken chairs to not sit in. Had to tell front desk to send maid service to change bedding & repurpose. No toilet paper..... Beds were confortable - hotel just needs updated.....

Ive stayed here plenty of time and this was my 1st major disappointment. i always get the units with the living room so may son can sleep on the sofa. 1st problem i had was the door that separated the rooms was removed. The hindges were there but no door. 2nd The bed mattresses were uncomfortable. You could feel each individual spring. 3rd There was no usually supplied soap. Also has to wait on towels to be washed to get clean ones. 4th the pool was closed. Places nearby had theirs open. 5th and this has always been an issue, adequate parking spaces. Made worse by road construction. Until most of these issues are resolved i want book my favorite Beachcomber again.

Get there early!
After being put into a room that already had somone else checked into, we got to our room on the 5th floor, apparently the higher floors are remodeled and staff said they fill top floors first so you better check in as early as possible to have a decent room.. Dirty. Worn out.. needs redone desperately. Pull out couch is gross and cannot be slept on in any way. The mattresses on the full size double beds were worn so bad and very uncomfortable. No pool... its blocked off. Dirty dishes in cabinet.. coffee mug in cabinet that was used as an ash tray with a butt still in it. Nasty stovetop. We spent hours after check in just cleaning. No hot water in the shower is why we ultimately checked out a day early because i just needed a hot shower desperately. Great location on the beach with massive potential but i would seriously look elsewhere. We did not bring any of this up with staff as it was Christmas and we just dealt with it best we could and enjoyed our time doing activities and being on the beach.
